Publisher's Summary

In the aftermath of a deadly alien invasion, a spy and a soldier find themselves locked in an alien cage and told...mate or die.

A covert mission gone horribly wrong. Cool, composed spy, Devlin Gray is used to bad situations, but locked in the bowels of an alien facility with tough, sexy soldier Taylor and told to mate is bad. Very bad. During his career, he's had to lie and kill, he's been betrayed, and he knows he works best on his own. Now he is forced to depend on Taylor, and together they have to find a way to escape before it's too late...

Taylor Cates has already been to hell once before. She lives to fight for others, just like her mother once fought for her, and Taylor vows to do whatever it takes to escape the aliens. As she works with the sexy, suave Devlin, she starts to see glimpses of the man beneath the cool exterior. An exterior she soon finds she wants to melt.

In the worst of circumstances, a passion is born. But on the run for their lives, Devlin and Taylor soon discover far worse things in the alien facility: human prisoners and a weapon that could be the very downfall of the human race. A weapon that will threaten their friends, their home, and everything they hold dear.

Still going strong

I love Devlin’s British accent; Samantha does an excellent job with foreign dialects. Make is sound smooth and sexy. Storyline continues to add and build; really enjoying this series. Jeffrey does a fantastic job with narration also. Now onto Theron!

Devlin

Devlin, a former spy, and Taylor, a former soldier, couldn’t be more different yet similar! They both have unique skillsets and become sexually attracted to one another under bizarre circumstances during an assignment. However, what I like about them is that there are no pretenses and they are forthcoming in what is wanted. The fact that Devlin has a British accent ramps up their sexual chemistry!! The two make airing your dirty laundry look easy and without repercussions!!

Nice Story

This was a nice story, the whole getting captured thing was a bit different. I like this series but like others, it was starting to drag down for me. The good guys struggle, loose some more people, face unbelievable odds, then come through and kick bad guy butt. This story introduces another new weapon the aliens just introduced which seems to be the new normal for each story. I'm hoping these move along to other story lines soon. Again, Love Jeffrey Kafter but not so much Samantha. She just feels like she's reading with raised voice and pauses where Jeffrey Kafer feels more like an actor than a reader. Don't like Samantha's male voice, it's just weird and doesn't do it for me.

#11

I've said it before and will say it again, I love this series! Devlin and Taylor burn up the pages with chemistry and there's plenty of action to keep the pages turning. With each book the world this is set in is enhanced, made a bit more complex and leaves the reader looking for the next up.

Another HIT!!!

I'm such a big fan of this series and i've been waiting for Devlin to have his own book! I was super excited to find out he'd be paired up with Taylor. Absolutely loved the characters, and performance done by JK and SC was executed very well! Anna Hackett delivers another wonderful action packed romance. One of my FAVS!

Devlin and Taylor

Devlin and Taylor have been caught, caged, and ordered to mate. Finding a way out of their situation is not easy, but the information they can provide is vital to the chances of survival for the remaining humans on earth.

Love the dynamic between the standoffish spy Devlin and squad 9 soldier Taylor. Well worth the read and the continuation of this series!

Super Spy

Hell Squad continues with super spy Brit Devlin Gray and tough as nails Squad Nine soldier Taylor Cates. In the last book we left Dev and Taylor on a dangerous mission that results in them being captured. How far would you go to survive. They are about to find out, when they are locked in an alien cage and told...mate or die. This results in the hottest 'Fake' scene since Harry Met Sally.

Cool, composed former British spy, Devlin Gray is used to bad situations, But this takes the biscuit. At least he has a smart and sexy soldier for company. During his career, he's had to lie, to kill and been stabbed in the back, literally. A man that works better on his own, he is now forced to depend on Taylor to find a way to escape before it's too late...

Taylor Cates has already survived hell once before. Now she lives to fight for others. And others now include the sexy, suave man she is trapped with. Getting to know honourable Devlin in the worst possible circumstances she find herself wanting to melt his cool exterior. But first she has to escape the aliens. Along the way Dev and Taylor discover something truly terrifying. A game changer. A weapon that will threaten their friends, their home, and everything they hold dear. Now they have even more reason to get out alive and tell the others.

Passion grows between them as they run for their lives. But will it still burn when they return home or will they just be left with ashes and memories.

Devlin and Taylor are a force to be reckoned with and the scenes between them are HOT! Loved it....

and the action heats up

oh Ms Hackett your one scary author. the story gets deeper, nastier and so much more. just love the way the aliens find more methods and ways to endanger the humans.
It's great to have another 2 fall for each other and the steamy scenes just keep on changing....
the history of the characters is an added bonus, each with their unique story.
well done Jeffrey you coped with the English accent well. but Sam kicked your butt.
still hooked and laugh at how smart we are and how dumb raptors are.

Brilliant

Devlin book 11 of Hell Squad focuses on Devlin Gray former British spy and Taylor Cates and tough and sexy soldier. While spying on the aliens they are caught, thrown in a cage and told to mate or die. They find a way to fool the aliens and eventually escape but there are consequences and they are both hurt badly, Devlin's injuries are life threatening. Whilst recovering Taylor realises she wants Devlin badly and sets out to get what she wants and what follows is a scorching hot interaction between the two. They both have incidents in their pasts that will cause problems for their relationship and when Devlin tells Taylor they are over he just might have made the biggest mistake of his life but, Taylor is determined to have him and fights for them. They end up fighting the aliens again with some other soldiers and end up saving the day. Another brilliant edition to the series that had me laughing out loud at times, it is full of humans, aliens, action and scorching hot romance and cannot be put down. I highly recommend the book and the series as a whole.
