great listen

I really enjoyed this story. I have not read anything by this author before so I was very excited to give it a try. I love Dragon books and Vampire stories so when I saw that my two favorites collided I was so stoked. It's not often you get this pairing together. This author did a great job with it. The narrator was good and I enjoyed the way they told the story. I cant wait for another book in this series.

Devin 💕Rourke

I absolutely loved the characters of Devin and Rourke from the previous in the series and was super thrillied when I saw that they finally got their own HEA!

The romance arc was sweet and I loved the dynamics between the characters.

I definitely recommend listening to this one in the series order for maximum enjoyment!!

The narration was enjoyable as well

Choosing family

I enjoyed hearing how Devin and Roarke came to balance each other out so well and became real partners. This story was as fast paced as the first, but went in a very different direction, by bringing many more dragons, as well as the council into the mix. The dialogue was still awkward in places, but better overall and the narrator did a nice job voicing the characters and providing distinction between them along with the brogue. I’m certainly interested in listening to more of these books.

Loved Devon and Roarke!!

Devin is a vampire and the second in the coven. Roarke is a dragon and Devin’s fated mate. When Roarke’s father calls him home, Devin goes with him, but this father isn’t very receptive to having his some with a vampire. Roarke’s father has gotten himself in a bit of trouble and its up to Roarke and Devin to help him get out of it. I cannot wait for the next one in the series! Aaron Ross is a new to me narrator. He did a fantastic job! Each voice was distinct and clear, well done. Overall, fantastic!!

Great

Enjoyable and exciting. This story has a little bit of everything from a arranged mating to a vampire lover. This was action packed and full of adventures. Devin is a vampire and Roarke is a dragon and these too are smoking hot. They have there difficulties but get a great ending. The narration was great.

you will love this second book in the series the first book was awesome the second book is even greater I can't wait for the third book I hope you enjoy this lovely review because I am in trance and can't wait you will not be sorry for this series if you pick it up or buy it it's so good

Dragons are still my favorite!

I love dragons (I've mentioned a few times in previous reviews), and I am absolutely loving this series! This book is mostly about Devin and Roarke, but there are continuing storylines from the first book. I would recommend reading them in order for maximum enjoyment. For this book specifically, I like seeing Devin accept the bond with Roarke, and I like that we get to meet Roarke's family. I'm also really liking the narrator, and I hope. he does the future books in the series!

Thoughts

I absolutely love these series. The romances are so sweet and compassionate and the endings are always heart warming. Even in hard times and turmoil in my life I can always catch myself smiling listening to them. 💙

Perfection!!

This was absolutely perfect! Not only was the story itself on-point but the narrator was great distinguishing between characters and the inflection for the different scenes was exactly what the book needed to be brought to life!

Devin and Roark

I have read this book and enjoyed it so much so I wanted to hear it. The narrator is terrific, so sexy sounding and I could definitely tell the difference in characters by him using different voices. Devin and Roark have been knowing that they were fated mates for a long time, but not only did they want to know each other better before mating, they were vampire and dragon. And both held high positions within each their kind. Add in the mate of the dragon having a baby or two and a life threatening injury and that explains why they waited. But once they decided to claim each other, it was fast and furious.

I am a big fan of CK Noel and try to grab my hands on everything they do. I was given the opportunity to receive an ARC of this audio and am voluntarily leaving a review.
