Fabulous spooky world

Charles has imagined an unusual, detailed world of spooky monsters and crazy humans in Deadwood. The connecting story plots make me want a notebook, but the audio version keeps me on track Shaffer does an AMAZING jobs with the multiple characters such that I can identify them from her voice alone. I love all the mysteries and family history and the family that has supper each night at Zoe’s.

The only thing I don’t like is Violet. Seriously, she should be hitting the gym with the kids and Doc, being armed to the teeth every where she goes and have her hunting gear in a pack by her side after all the attempts on her life! I understand her fear but really, she has a big group of family and friends to protect, yet time and again she has to find a weapon to defend herself because she isn’t prepared. Her whining has diminished somewhat in this book, but the standing around and questioning to deflect while monsters come to destroy her and her friends is getting really old. Act your age and parental responsibilities, Violet!

To us series has it all!

Loved this series. Addicting. All the characters are wonderfully developed. Laugh out loud funny! Sexy scenes and thrilling story line. I hope and pray there is more to come with this series.

Bittersweet

I can honestly say that I am saddened that the series is over at the moment and I am going to get into the jack rabbit and the other series too I love these books it makes me feel like I'm there with them I literally listen to stories more than I watch the TV all day long at work when I'm doing chores in the car and at home I love this series I love the author and I love the lady that reads it

White knuckles

There are several times I was coaching Violet as she is fighting the others and dealing with ghosts.

I drive a big rig and the Deadwood Mystery series is very entertaining.

I think Ann Charles needs a nickname like the ones she gives Violet. My vote would be Slayer.

A paranormal must read!!

Devil Days In Deadwood is the 11th book in this crazy and fun paranormal world that the author has created. The plot is twisting and getting thicker as time runs out for Violet to save her aunt Zoe. I just love this cast of characters and their adventures in Deadwood!
