Interesting Story

Worth the credit and the listen! Interesting story, likable characters and excellent narration. Highly recommend!

Two Stepbrothers. One Bed. Five Years of Unresolved Tension

I loved Parrish and Levi’s story. Parrish is exactly the kind of prickly, “the world was mean to me so now I’m mean back” love interest I will follow into any burning building. And I loved being along for the ride as Levi, the golden child, finally grew a backbone. The forced proximity trope did its job, those early scenes in that one bed had me physically vibrating. I was torn between wanting to drag the tension out more, but absolutely loving the spicy scenes. Overall a good story that I enjoyed a lot.

Great story, I really enjoyed it!😄 I would definitely recommend it. I liked that Parrish was such a hard ass and fell for his twink stepbrother.

Just missed the mark

I'm not sure why this didn't have me kicking my heels together with joy. It should have. Step bros, yep, twink energy, yep, D/S vibe, yep. But somehow it just didn't ring my bell.

The build up was good. The teasing, the being mean and close proximity trope used well. And the heat was there too.
Add in the awful parents and it had the full package.

I love D/S in books, but this could have missed that out and it wouldn't have been any worse for it. It was D/S light, and I feel that sometimes you have to go all in or not bother.

I think that for me it was the narration. I really rate Zachary Zaba, but this lacked his usual energy.

On the plus side, I enjoyed the HEA and drunk Aunt Lauren!

A good story that would have benefitted from a different reader.

A good story. Sadly, the reader's cadence was off putting and somewhat distracting. I forced myself to continue, and was glad I did. Worth the read if you can get past the distraction.
