Love Greek mythology

Books are pretty good but male narrator murders some of the Greek gods names , seriously I know that there are many interpretations to them but he his way off on some

Ok... I was on board all the way till the end. Then I was disappointed. Why ended like that!!!

great story

I loved this story! lots of action, twists and turns. exciting! I loved the characters!

Great series

This series has been such a ride and I can’t wait for it to keep going! This book had a lot of twists and turns that weren’t expected and made this book that much more enjoyable. Melany has had to learn so much and overcome so much. Things have definitely not gone as she’s expected and yet she’s managed to keep going and not backdown. I really enjoyed the big battle and all the action in this story! The narrator did a fantastic job brining these characters to life along with the action.

Little Confused

The ending doesn't make as much sense as I would like.
Are they really dead?
Do they get their powers back?
What makes them demigods now?
Is the main character now a god?
Are meline and lucius dating?
What is the shadow from?
Did she create it?
If you are looking for a cut and dry ending this is not the book you are looking for.
You are left with just as many questions at the end as in the beginning.

Need another book

This book had a lot of action and thrill . The ending was a bit unexpected . It felt a little rushed and there are a few questions unanswered . I loved hearing about Hades and Lucian . The narration was easy to follow also .

What a Ride!

I received a free audio copy for review all opinions are my own.
I have been keeping up with Melany since the beginning. Her adventure has been fun and exciting. This doesn't disappoint as the true secrets of the gods come to life.
I loved that Melany was bold even when afraid. Some people have criticized her for having sex with multiple people in this book, but I thought it was time women are able to enjoy sex with whomever they want. This doesn't leave into some weird triangle because Melaney doesn't stop her quest against teh gods even while she puts her romantic adn sexual emotions together.
As usual Melany's voice actor is perfect and I enjoy her character. I still don't like Lucian's actor (he would have fit better as one of teh gods) and his overly obsessive need to save Melaney as opposed to assisting her on her journey.
Overall, I Enjoyed teh Deigods Academy very much.

Epic battle

I struggled with this audiobook. I was so frustrated with the main female character, Mel. I loved her and connected with her character in the very first book but man...it’s like her character suddenly changed and it became a love triangle. Gah, I love Lucian and felt like he truly deserved better. The battle at the end was great!! The build up to it and the conclusion, letting the reader know where most of the characters are at and their headspace. The narrators truly did a fabulous job. It’s one of the reasons as to why I continued listening to the book. I would recommend this book if you enjoy demigods, greek mythology, and academy books. I would say that this is a upper YA book so for older teens. I received a free copy of this title in exchange for my unbiased review.

the story continues in a surprising way

I admit this isn't what I imagined happening at all at the beginning of book 1. I don't know how I feel about Hades yet or the change in the overall romantic plot, but I'm willing to continue the series and stay along for the ride.
Vanessa Moyen does a fantastic job with narration as usual. paired with this phenomenal duo's writing style, it'll definitely keep you hooked, no matter how you feel about the plot going a direction you're not sure you like. that's a huge nod to the authors that I still want to keep reading/listening! I always like to remember to rate a book for what it is, and not what I want it to be, and that's the case for this one. Solid 3.5 stars. I don't agree with everything Melanie, especially when there was no true rational, AND we saw so much growth in books 1 & 2, but let's see what happens in book 4. maybe her growth will take a new direction.

I hope there will be more !

This was another great listen! I hope Haties and Persephony can be together now and I want to know what happens next with the Academy now the titins are back... and also what happens with Mel and Lucian and the others .....so many questions! please be a book 4 !
