Clara and Damien definitely match the description of opposites attract! But the strengths each have definitely make for a good assassin team. I wasn’t sure how the story was going to end as there were a few twists. The narrator did a great job with her inflection and voices

Fun engaging story with a sweet ending

I enjoyed listening to this book series and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys witty humor with interesting characters each combining their unique special gifts to help the world. Enjoy!

Clara and Damien are polar opposites, but they must come together and learn to work as a team if they are to protect magic from the evil forces in the world. Clara a quiet, shy vegetarian and Damien an outgoing, loud, vampire must learn to live with each other’s gifts and quirks now that they are bonded and that includes meals. It is a lot to take on but they must try hard. For their missions will depend on it. This is the first 6 books in the series and I am hoping there will be more. The voice actor for this book, Annalee Scott will have you lost in the book like you are there living with them and helping the pair along so you might want to take the long way home. The characters are fun and believable, they remind me of brother and sister with bad sibling rivalry. This is a great series so far and I cannot wait for more
