Publisher's Summary

Madison Moore is a single mother of two young boys. She's not interested in dating or partaking in meaningless sex. Her only goal in life is to be a good mother and make life as normal as possible for her oldest son who is diagnosed with a learning disability.

When Ryder Storm literally comes crashing into her home and turns her life upside down, she finds herself falling hard. Madison's denial about her feelings and dismissal of his advancements only fuels Ryder's determination to make her his. Madison may think she poses a challenge for Ryder, but victory will be his, and when all her defenses are down, he'll be more than willing to deliver whatever she needs.

It felt so real, I just wanted to slap Madison!!

First of, the performance was almost perfection, with all due respect, kids voices not so realistic, though (this is just my personal opinion). So I'll give the performance a 4.9!! Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott, are the real deal, if it had been someone else performing, I may have giving up right from the start.

The story started in a very unsual way for me and in all honesty, even though it sounded like a regular-crazy day a normal person like you and/or me will have or a busy mom will have (either way divorce, widow or single mom), I really wanted to stop reading after the first chapter (sorry, just being honest here). However, I'm glad I didn't because the story got so freaking good and felt so real, that kept me engaged and just flipping pages the entire time. That is, until freaking Madison got me so mad and screaming at her as if she in front of me (this happened on chapter 22nd). O-M-G, at that point I lost it and didn't wanted to keep reading. I was so freaking angry at Madison for being a coward and acting like she hadn't move on and didn't have a great mant right by her side, one she didn't deserve BTW!!!!!

First she tell herself she'll file for full custody of her kids, but she never does, WTF? Now the low life of her ex comes back trying to extort her and she agrees? FFS, what's wrong with this woman? She really doesn't deserve a man like Ryder Storm, for real. He's been more like a father to her children than her ex. She doesn't even listen when Ryder is telling her what she's reading is only part of a report, and the other half exonerated him of everything (this when he was 16 years old FFS...nothing more, especially being an adult). Really? WTF, here is where I almost give up, because I couldn't believe someone who started to move on and seem a smart ass of a woman, could get so stupid by allowing a low life to run her life, especially when he's not even doing his job (being a father for his own children).

Nevertheless, this is one of my favorite authors and I knew she wouldn't disappoint with the ending, so after a couple of days I've calm down, I went back and finished listening to the 4 remaining chapters. Well, like I've said, it didn't disappoint at all, but the story is so freakishly vivid, that I'm still mad at Madison for letting the people she claims to love, go through a rough and painful time (this happens when you find an amazing storyteller that pulls you into her stories every freaking time).

All I can say, this was an amazing ride, one that I highly recommend you take!!

Best story ever.

This book hit so close to home with me. I am an adult with dyslexia and a husband who abused me verbally and mentally. My husband also left my daughter all alone and walked out. My new husband just like Ryder stood up for me against the ex. Thank you for writing such a wonderful book.

Madison and Ryder!

Madison divorced her cheating husband and since that time he has been an absentee father to their seven year old son Aiden, who is autistic, and their two year old son Caleb. Her children are her life but from the moment that she meets Ryder, who she meets while he is delivering a package to her home, she can’t help but be attracted to him because of the way he is with her boys.

Ryder is enchanted by Madison from the moment they meet, and he is more of a father to her sons than their biological father, but will their pasts destroy the family that they are creating?

Ryder was amazing as he was so good with the boys and he showed Madison that she was a woman as well as a mother while Madison was a selfless mother other at the cost of her own happiness. The secondary characters were great as Aiden is so adorable and will break your heart while Madison’s best friend Tyler provided humor every time. I thought the narrators did a great job of bringing this story to life. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of the audible book.

Emotional journey

What starts out as a simple delivery turns into an emotional journey of finding your purpose and future. This story had it all. Beautifully written characters, a storyline that I did not want to end and enough emotion to make it all honest and real. The narrators did a wonderful job bringing this story to life.

Beautiful & Moving Romance!

I loved this beautiful and moving romance. It is about two people who connect thru a hardship not many understand. But when Madison is too focused on doing her best for her adorable little boys, Ryder easily slips in and shows her how wonderful she is and that she doesn't have to do it alone. Ryder is so sweet and sexy, but had his own issues. Madison is able to make him see his worth and that he is more than what he believes. Ryder and Madison are so perfect together. They challenge each other, make each other stronger and their passion is off the charts!
Wen Ross, and Kai Kennicott deliver a wonderful performance. Several standouts to me were Ross' ability to easily navigated between adult and child voices and Kennicotts heartfelt emotion that had me in tears during one frightening event. Through it all, you could definitely feel the chemistry that smoldered between Madison and Ryder.
This is a poignant, heartwarming and sexy romance that should not be missed!

Ryder.....

Nicole Garcia.... This book was so swoon worthy~! Ryder is the kind of guy everyone dreams of. Delivered Through the storm is full of Pure Soul Melting Love. It is honest, emotions, and oh so sexy.

Ryder is exactly what this family needs~ and this family is just what Ryder didn't know he was missing.

Narration by Wen and Kai is fabulous as always. They never disappoint.

This book is a must read. It is a wonderful story of a Single mother finding love after a broken heart.

... love can be sweeter the second time around.

Madison is used to weathering heartache.  With storm clouds consistently circling overhead will she even notice when fate sees to bring some long overdue sunshine her way?  Delivered Through the Storm is a tale about life.  Garcia brings a heartbreaking realism to those who are not born with a silver spoon or a gold cup waiting in the wings. She gives voice to the underdog.  A single mother who has lost the ability to see the bright side and the determined man that wants to give her hope.   With emotional narration and relatable storytelling,  Ryder and Madison prove that life and love can be sweeter the second time around.

4 Emotional stars

Madison is left with 2 small children after her douchebag of a husband Mitch left, her life now consists of work and her two boys and she is just trying to do the best she can.

Madison's best friend is trying to get her out there again and meet people, but it won't really be necessary, because along comes Ryder at just the right time....

Very emotional and a bit of a tear-jerker, this one will pull at your heart strings, but also make you laugh, smile and want to physically hurt characters!!

Lovely romance

I loved this book by Nicole Garcia. It was such a lovely read about a divorcé single mom with two adorable kids and a delivery guy trying to find the love both of them deserved. I loved all the main characters. Madison loved her children with everything she had. Her struggles growing up with a cold-hearted mother and later a marriage to a good-for-nothing husband made my heart wrench. She was such a great mother and a loving friend and a true companion. Ryder too was utterly loveable. After he sowed his wild oats he decided it was time his life to become a lot more meaningful. Although his first entrance in Medison's life was just by coincidence he knew his life wasn't going to be the same ever again. He was full of love to give and he was amazing with Madison's little boys. I'd like to hope for such a great outcome for children neglected by one of their parents after divorce. I liked the way the author wrote about sensitive objects such as learning disabilities or the damage an incompetent parent can cause for a youg child.

Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross once again did an amazing job with this audio. I loved every minute of it. I really think they made the story even better with their narration. I loved the way they enacted all dialogues and moods. I loved Wen Ross's Aiden voice, it was adorable. I think these two narrators are awesome together.

Sweet and heartwarming

This story of two essentially lonely people, is beautifully brought to life by Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross. Madison and Rider are a fabulous couple and their connection develops into something rich and rewarding as the book progresses. The narration is so very good bringing the characters to life and creating a completely satisfying listen.

Sweet, Charming and Emotional

Nicole Garcia has done it again. I love her words, the way she blends serious subjects with humour and light-heartedness really works well. I couldn’t help but love it. Her writing always captures my attention and my heart. This book was sweet and charming, and emotional. But it was also hilarious. And steamy, oh yes, the steam was there, not that I ever doubted it. This is the perfect single mother story, I haven’t read many, all the single parent stories I seem to come across are single fathers, so this was a nice change. It doesn’t sugar coat Madison’s situation, she’s a struggling single working mum and that shows throughout the story, which only made it more real.
The cover? Holy hotness. I love this cover so much. Especially the gift tag with the narrators' names on the audio edition, that was such a cute touch.

So many wonderful characters in this book. I loved them all… except for Mitch, he’s not nice at all, I hated him.
Ryder is all the things. I want to know why my delivery guy is nothing like him. He’s funny, charming, sexy and caring. The way he is with Mads children is just *swoon* He’s the type of guy every single mother hopes they will meet.
Madison is such a sweet woman, she’s got so much going on, it’s a wonder she’s even functioning. But she is, and she’s caring for her boys and doing all she can, it’s beautiful. I was so happy to see her open herself up to some happiness with Ryder.
The children are the cutest things, especially Aiden, he plays such a pivotal role in their story and I loved how that was conveyed. Oh, oh, and Tyler, he needs a HEA too, he is the sweetest and funniest person ever. I think we all need a Tyler in our lives.

I loved how their relationship built and progressed. It was beautiful. Ryder at first was just into the pretty woman he’d met, nothing wrong with that, but once he spent a little time with Madison it was obvious he was falling for her and her kids. Madison tried to fight it but thankfully Ryder was persistent, and he worked his way into her heart. The children played such a huge part of their relationship and the way that was handled was perfection, the worries Madison had made perfect sense. It didn’t stop me from cursing her though. The little angst was suited to the story and thankfully didn’t last too long.

I do love a duet narration and Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross always deliver. Always! Their voices blend so well together, I was definitely looking forward to hearing how they were going to perform these characters and they were perfect as Madison and Ryder. Wen also did a brilliant job voicing seven-year-old Aiden and I must say, it was those scenes, between Ryder and Aiden that I had the most reactions too. It was just beautiful. Emotional, but beautiful. Kai, I adored how she chose to voice Madison, it was a little deeper than I’m used to hearing from her and it worked really well for the character and showed another side to her talent. As for the steamy moments, sheesh, can these two perform a sex scene with conviction. I listened to this audio in a day, I just couldn't put it down. The production was fine with no issues.

Perfect listen for a snowstorm!

Nicole Garcia writes such warm, wonderfully true to life books, you can't help but get wrapped up in them. The characters of Ryder and Madison are indicative of real circumstances, both are easy to relate to. Madison is the protective mother of her two boys, and Ryder, the man who can make her family a reality. I love Madison, having exactly the same feelings as a mom that I have, doing anything and everything for the happiness and protection of her two small kids. When Ryder, the delivery man intercepts her life, things change for the better. But her arrogant, rude, cheating ex-husband isn't going to stand by and let her and the boys be happy. The question is, will he get the best of her and ruin her relationship with Ryder? Love the supporting character of Madison's best friend Tyler too, he is the kind of friend everyone want to have. Garcia has a way of writing, in such a conversational way that it's like you actually know the characters. With a story including the struggles of children and adults with disabilities, budding relationships and hot sex, you can not go wrong with this listen!

The winning combination of Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott narrate this book with the heartfelt emotion that this story illuminates. Wen gives a stellar performance of the little Aiden, and the chemistry between Ryder and Madison is easily felt with these two telling the story.
