Love this book

Gives a great sense of humor and love and respect for others who made the way for us to live our life together and understand the different struggles that come from being together back then before gay marriage became legal and the world of gay rights and equality and freedom took shape and the legal system that changed over time and the Constitution and our society. This book gives us a sad perspective of history. That I don’t think we value how much our society and our community have evolved over time and have lost the understanding of the past and how it affects the take on our communities and the people who fight for our lives and rights to love openly and marriage rights.

Informative and intriguing

I found this book to be a slightly challenging read due to the frequent back-and-forth in the timeline of information being shared, but it was also intertwined with the overarching story. I appreciate the extensive coverage of political, legal, and court cases that significantly impacted the lives of queer individuals. However, it was difficult to follow how these discussions were seamlessly integrated into the main narrative, creating a pocket universes within the story. Despite this, I believe it’s an informative and intriguing book, although it’s one of my more challenging reads.
