Narrator is not my favorite

Narrator does not pause long. All chapters feel like long run-on sentences.

I like to listen at ~1.5 speed. Deadman’s character speaking so fast doubles this and it’s awful.

Very poor planning/dictation on this. Story is fantastic.

For Fans Who Need More

As far as adaptations go, it’s impressive for two reasons. 1) Hideo Kojima story to a book and 2) English translation off of that. Don’t pick this up if you think it will explain the story, that’s for a YouTube video. BUT if you love it like me then get it for all the extra lore and simply more DS.

frustratingly confusing and annoyingly nonsensical

The video game was better at explaining what was going on too many details added to this book made the story on totally unbelievable and frustrating too many acronyms and story plot lines were changing too much The narrators way of speaking was also annoying and frustrating so there was no way to finish this title without being so so frustrated already it wasn't making enough sense to finish and it was making me mad so I want a refund
