Publisher's Summary
Guide your emotions and manifest your dreams with law of attraction expert, Sarah Prout
Ten years ago, Sarah Prout walked away from an abusive marriage with two suitcases, two kids, and $30,000 in debt. Today she is happily married, running a million-dollar business, and helping people around the world achieve the life of their dreams. She credits her success to manifesting and the law of attraction, beliefs that thinking positive or negative thoughts attracts positive or negative experiences into your life. Prout’s message is simple - when you choose to guide your emotions, the Universe will show up and support you to find success, love, and more.
Dear Universe first contains 100 mini-meditations to help listeners rise above feelings like angry, lonely, or powerless. Then they're invited to aim for a love-based word from a second set of 100 meditations such as abundant, devoted, or passionate. It's an invitation to call upon the energy of the Universe and manifest one's own reality: a combination of practical guidance, soulful exercises, and nuggets of wisdom.

Editor's Pick
Little manifestations everywhere
"For one of our #TBLT ("to be listened to") challenges this year, I recommended Dear Universe to Editor Kat, who is a busy woman-about-town and parent of two young children (in addition to full-time wordsmith here at Audible), so she doesn’t have a ton of time to focus on herself. But these bite-size affirmations go down easy and quickly—particularly with the lovely lilt of "manifestation guru" Sarah Prout’s voice—and there’s a unique one for nearly every situation: anxiety, annoyance, worthiness (and everything in between)."

exhale your anger?!
How about having compassion for your anger and using the energy in a way that serves? Denial, empty affirmations...I wanted to dig this book, but it wasn't for me. If affirmations and attempts to talk yourself out of what you feel somehow work for you, give it a listen.
I prefer Pam Grout's" E-squared "and it's quantifiable practices that don't require futile attempts to talk oneself out of feelings that are messengers.
Also, "Feelings Buried Alive Never Die" (FBAND) is an excellent book to deal with various feelings. Warning: FBAND has some mildly flaky stuff but it WORKS.

Must Read -
This book exceeded my expectations! It is a must read! I have this book in both written and audible. Both very powerful! However, being able to listen to the audible version for a couple of hours at a time while I am busy working has made a huge impact on my attitude. Sarah has a very powerful voice and you feel as if she is talking directly to you. This audible will be my go to on a daily basis. I highly recommend having both versions of this book.

Amazing book for mental spiritual and emotional health
I am an avid reader of self-help and development books attending seminars listening to online courses. Dear universe is now one of my favorite additions to my extensive library. I’m so glad that I decided to purchase both the hardcover copy as well as this audible version so that I can take Dear Universe with me wherever I go.
One of my favorite components of this book is that you can search for and find the emotion you’re feeling and immediately read a short and powerful segment of Dear Universe and get your mindset straight.
I’m looking forward to keeping this title at the top of my library for many years to come.

Disappointed
Having read the reviews for this audio book, I believed this was going to be the book to help me begin a new journey out of low self esteem and insecurity.
I listened to the sample, and yup still OK.... However 15 minutes in and I realise I have heard it all before, literally, but not nearly so well delivered. The description of feelings attached to the manifestations were so simplistic - I mean do I really need a book to help me deal with traffic jams? No.. No I don't. I don't get upset about traffic jams.. my feelings are deeper and more meaningful than that. I will go back to Louise Hay who did all this many years ago...

I think the index style should be changed.
Essentially a great book and great narrator. I Recommended it to a friend within the first half hour of listening, but then I later returned it. The problem for me was that after each meditation, other meditations are recommended. This makes it feel like you are reading an index and I found myself switching off. I tried to persevere with it but it became too irritating. I am going to buy in book form instead if it is available so that I can dip in and dip out. I think the Writer should omit these extra numbers in the audio version, as they don’t work practically in this sense.
