Publisher's Summary

A funny and heartfelt travel memoir, Dear Bob and Sue: Season 3 brings to life the joy of the road trip and the humor that comes with experiencing new places and activities.

This book is a follow-up to the best-selling book Dear Bob and Sue, a charming and sometimes irreverent chronicle of a middle-aged couple as they visit each of the country's 59 national parks, testing their mettle and stretching their endurance.

In their third book of the series, follow Matt and Karen as they work their way around the western United States discovering some of our most beautiful public lands, hidden gems, and revisiting a few of their favorite national parks. Share their trials and tribulations as they hit the road in an RV for the first time in Arizona and hike the same trail the Klondike Gold Rush prospectors took in Alaska. Through a series of emails written to their friends, Bob and Sue, the couple brings the listener along on their adventures, sharing their experiences as they explore some of the lesser known parks and national monuments. By the end of the book, you'll be itching to drag out your hiking boots, dust off your tent, and hit the road.

Good for a Laugh

as we continue to shelter in place from Covid-19, I enjoy their banter and wish my wife and I could be on the road seeing what they've seen.

What a shrew

I usually love these types of travelogues but I couldn't make it halfway through a single recording because the wife is such an whiny complaining manipulative shrew. I don't know how he stays married to her. Unhealthy relationships are not funny. Thoroughly unpleasant listening experience. Try for yourself- you might not be bothered by them and the travel part is ok

Great book about NP travel.

The only reason I gave this book 4 stars instead of 5 is I need child friendly language and content. Most of the book could be read to children, but it would take planning by the parent.

Another Great Way To Make The Miles Fly By

This was the third book in the Dear Bob And Sue series. My husband and I have been to many of the parks and places described in these three fun books and really enjoyed all three on our own less adventuresome road trips and long drives. David Colacci is the primary narrator and his voice has such a perfect ironic tone to it which makes the books more like a long comedy sketch. Susan Erickson, his real life wife, is also pretty funny herself. I never listen to audiobooks twice, but if I ever do, it will be these three books and their other equally interesting and humorous book, DORIES HO.

Best Adventure Books

It is like you are actually traveling with them. The places and people and all their adventures. I love the narrator's on these series. I hate it when the book is over. I really enjoyed all three but these adventures were amazing.
