Narrator was awesome

I loved the story I love western genre especially with some true facts of the old frontier, what people went through to just survive, the story kept me interested from beginning to the end 👏

Proper Western !

Great novel of it's genre that delivers a livid narrative of its era while dodging the classic tropes. Loved the treatment of the native female characters especially. Readers performance is wonderful as well.

Hard to follow

The format was an old man reminiscing and confusing. The story had too many coincidences, and protagonists were weak, should have destroyed their enemy who was a wicked cruel man. Instead one joined him. Made no sense.
