Publisher's summary

Evil comes in all forms. Sometimes it wears a human mask.

When the body of a newlywed is discovered on the reservation, Lizzie Grace throws herself into the investigation, needing a distraction from what she knows is coming not only for her but also for Belle, her best friend and witch familiar.

But as the body count grows and a desperate race begins to track down a supernatural entity capable of powerful magic, it becomes evident another deadly game has begun - one they may not win.

Because the past - and the man - they ran from 13 years ago has finally caught up with them.

And he’s out for revenge...

love this series

I absolutely love this series which is why I’m taking time to write full review. Keri Arthur avoids so many of the pitfalls of the genre.

None of the female characters are jealous or threatened by other women’s looks or just because.

The male love interests don’t treat them like flowers to be rescued or meat, but can still be sweet and protective.

The idea behind the book is unique and not your typical book. It’s mainly focused on witches/magic with other elements of shape shifters, vampires, demons etc thrown in.

So good

I love this book. Seeing how much Lizzie has grown and keeps growing. I only wish the world magic would stop hurting her if its a natural part of her dna. Otherwise great story and I seriously have my fingers crossed that Lizzie and Aiden stay together.

Amazing narration makes fun story better!

Fun story made so much better by Katherine Littrell’s amazing narration. I love how she embodies each of the characters. Cant wait for number 7.

still excellent but mid series hump maybe?

the path of the storyline seemed a little too rushed given that the content was a long time coming and of higher magnitude than all the previous.
Maybe it was the material but the narrator seemed to feel that way too. The ending was very abrupt.
I have high hopes though that the next book is back up to the 5.0 star level.
