Magical

This book was such a cute debut YA novel yet it had underlying messages that even adults can appreciate.
Amala & Kha'Dasia were complete opposites but together ultimately seemed like two sides of the same coin. Their growth and slow development into more romantically was very refreshing to see in the particular setting for me.
The narrator for Amala took me a minute to adjust to but once I got used to her I really enjoyed it. Overall, this was such well written Sapphic novel.

Book of the year

I LOVED this book. The narrators are so talented and the story had me laughing, crying, and on the edge of my seat. Another incredible sapphic fantasy for the girlies. Huge recommend.
