Love ghost stories! This one didn’t disappoint!! Would read another from author! Recommended. The narrator was good!

Dead Spirits farm

This was a good book.It was a traditional ghost house haunting with a few twists.Howard Davey was a decent narrator.I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Phenomenal Ghost Story

Dead Spirits Farm is a phenomenal but Harrowing ghost story that dredges up sins of the past and puts them forefront in the present. I really enjoyed this book and the ending was definitely one that I did not see coming but love is love. I highly recommend this well written and descriptive book. I received this book for free in exchange for my honest review that I gave freely of my own volition.

A retirement plan gone bad…

Ben and Eleanor have found their retirement home…it’s a bit rundown but nothing that the couple, who own a construction company, can’t fix up. Except the unethical real estate agent never disclosed that the 200yr old farm was rumored to be haunted. Ben encounters the ghosts while he is renovating the place…and they’re definitely not the Casper sort! This fast paced, paranormal-horror story will hold you in its grasp from the start. Glad that I didn’t read it at night…lol…definitely spooky. It was brilliant! Highly recommend if you enjoy a good horror!

Ghost farmers

I enjoyed this short book about ghosts upsetting the retirement plans of a couple. This was definitely unique and had an excellent ending!

Creepy, grizzly, enthralling and fantastic!

When Ben and Eleanor bought the old farmhouse, they knew it needed work. What they didn’t know was the the colorful, haunting and horrifying history of “Dead”Spirits Farm”. They also didn’t know it was far from over! Creepy, in ALL the best ways, grizzly at times, and enthralling throughout, this fantastically written story gripped me, held me, and did not let me go until the very last fantastically narrated words were spoken! Reminding me of the good, old fashioned horror stories of times gone past, Dead Spirits Farm features rich, well defined, easy to care about characters, a smooth interesting, easy to understand plot and plenty of shivers! The dialogue rings true, and the scene setting perfectly explains not only the story, but gives all the necessary background information the listener needs in a clear, interesting manner without lagging or interfering with the flow of the story! Along the way there were quite a few eye opening surprises! No spoilers, you’ll understand when you get there! This one had me firmly camped out on the edge of my recliner and I loved every beautifully narrated minute! Five fantastic stars! More please Mr. Sleight!

Happy ending horror story......

Amazing. Was that foreshadowing in the beginning with the dream that the wife had after discussing future plans of retirement. Can't tell you but with everything he did to try and give her his dream for the retirement, was it too much love or blatant stubbornenss. However, he did try to find a way to save the home with ghost hunters and a priest but to no avail. He is told by several people to cut his losses and sell, and when it seems like he is finally going to do it, he goes missing when his wife shows up. As the story continues, the history of the house is slowly revealed and everything comes together. You will have to listen to find out what happens to everyone and how this comes to be a happy ending......

This narrator, as usual, is amazing and I really enjoy listening to his work.

Excellent Creep Factor

Narration: Brilliant.
Loved the story. Nicely paced and executed. New twists for horror lovers .

I enjoyed it for the most part. This book is worth listening to but it doesn't have any super great twists or plots
