Paranormal Mystery

I love anything with ghosts and enjoyed this book. Enjoyed the character Alex who goes to island owned by his friend Lawrence and experiences ghosts as well as others and has twists and turns. My first listen by author and only complaint too short. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. Thank you

Just what I was looking for in a scary story!

The right amount of mystery and spooky. Good ending .I really enjoyed this story and I hope the author writes more like this.

Ghostly tale combined with a murder mystery

After a previous thoroughly disappointing listen, I was delighted with this one. I Not my usual genre, however, I bought this book for a few bucks and was happy that I did. (I don’t waste my credits on reasonably priced audiobooks.) Invited by an old friend to his remote house, Alex accepts the offer and soon regrets his decision. Intricate twists and turns in this surprisingly entertaining mystery. Author Geoffrey Sleight and narrator Howard J. Daley are perfectly matched as they weave a mysterious and suspenseful ghostly tale tied in with a murder mystery. Highly recommended.

Enjoyed this story line, it kept me interested and would definitely listen to another audiobook from this author.

I received this book for free for a honest review.  I loved the characters and storyline.  it flowed very well and held together.  The narrator did an excellent job of bringing the characters to life.  reccomend

Not a place you want to visit!Well written ,short book.A friend invites a man to come spend time on his newly purchased island.When he wakes up,the island owner is gone on business.With only the reluctant staff couple to talk to,a hike is on the to do list.No move is a good move. Howard J. Davey was a fine narrator.I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.' 

Deadly!!!

For a short story I thought it was pretty good, I think they could have done so much more with it though... The Narration was good but there was like an echo or background noise that was annoying.. All in all it was pretty good.

This ghostly tale may be short, but it is extremely entertaining. Very well written with expert narration.

Great!

This was a great story. It was nice and creepy and held my attention the entire time I listened to it. I'll have to check out more books by this author. I feel like whenever I'm in the mood for something creepy or horror-like, I'm usually let down because the storyline isn't original or the story just doesn't have "it." The idea of being stuck on an island with strange things happening sounds exciting but scary at the same time. Not knowing what's happening and being unable to contact anyone... I was left a little surprised that the main character never really explored the property, like the main house that much.

The narrator did an awesome job and really added to the story. I'd listen to him again.
