A little slow in the beginning but a great read! I highly recommend it.

Heartfelt Terror

Maberry weaves deep human feeling in with real human struggles ands a healthy dose of absolute terror. I can't get enough!

good series

while overall i liked the book, this one was more stagnant than the last but it sets up the next book well. less action more drama...

At first I was annoyed by the author and editor getting some facts wrong in the recap. But great characters and a strong story wins the day.

i really enjoy the story

i am just used to a narrator the caliber of of ray porter reading the tale. i think it would make the experience so much better. but this is the second of the trilogy and i am about to go to number three so that says something! i

Maberry is awesome. I'm so freakin hooked. Everywhere I go I'm tellin people about The Pine Deep Trilogy.

Love this trilogy

you gotta listen to the trilogy at least 3x to catch all the Easter eggs like Mike's dreams when he said Crow's shirt was the only thing not covered in blood and it showed a band called "Missing 84" which makes all the sense when you get through book 3. Really great writing. Needs a mini series like It or Salems Lot

Pacing improved. Nice character development.

The pacing on book two was much better than the first one which had a very slow start. Enjoyable.
