Book Great Pearson Reading Not Great

I love this whole series. But the guy reading this is it's not very good with American accents. All the women sounded neatly. It was very hard for me to stick with the story because of it.

Great series horrible narration

The narrator, Aaron smith should not be narrating a zompoc series that celebrates the rebuilding of America. His proper English/British accent doesn’t work for me. He also tries too hard to do different accents and he fails miserably. He doesn’t know the characters and makes young college age men sound old and old men sound young. Then there’s is Clara. She’s a beautiful college age girl who is made to sound like Kermit the frog. He also mixes up “he’s” and “she’s” as in She said when a man is talking. That happens A LOT! Also, in the first weeks in El Paso, Angel is pronounced An-Hel by the great narrator PJ Morgan. In this part, the narrator pronounced it the regular Angel. Consistency please? At least there’s no Russian or Eastern European accents in the parts I’ve heard so far. That’s a new thing for Mr Smith as he normally makes southern accents sound so foreign you think you’re in a German spy novel… so that’s a plus.

Other than the horrible narration this is a great series!

Wrong narrator for this

Choosing a British narrator was a mistake, it was difficult to enjoy having Texans speaking with a British accent, and he chose horrible voices for some of the characters. Also again it was evident that no research was done for proper military terms, rank, and equipment. All that being said it was a good story though.
