good book but God was it sided heavily towards the Japanese made the Americans look like utter buffoons every step of the way

The book was very good. The audiobook NOT.

The readers voice grates on my nerves. His emphasis when applied is more snarky than dramatic. Don't bother by listening if you've read the book. The disappointment is almost physical.

Intriguing story! Excellent rendition of Hawaii

A very intriguing alternate history. I had no trouble at all getting through this book. Also I grew up in the islands and I was pleasantly surprised as to the accurate treatment given to Hawaii.

Throughout the entirety of the story I never felt as though anything was all too far fetched. Definitely interested in seeing where this goes.
