Abby Craden brings them to life in this magnificent story of restorative love. I loved it and will listen to it often.

I’ve been a fan of Gerri Hill since I was a teenager. I enjoy her writing style and her book go through all the emotions making them very relatable.

A really good lovey dovey romance story. I love how close the characters got. Susan was my hero for going with her heart!

Enjoyed the slow build up

Great narration as always. The story captivates from the first moment. Once they finally realize their feelings it was the magic the listener wanted.

Couldn’t stop listening!

Started listening with the intent of only doing several chapters a day. Ended up listening to the entire 6hours in one setting.

Loved the character development. Although a tad predictable, the unfolding of the story kept me hooked.

A Walk in the Park

Susan finds her husband in bed with a twenty year old. She leaves and goes to the family remote cabin in the National Park. Shawn Weber hikes and camps every weekend in the park with her dog, Alex. They become fast friends and then other feelings begin to surface. An erotic romance and starting over story. Recommend author. Great performance.

Enjoyed the story.

Enjoyed the characters a lot of women that are coming out can really understand the people in the book. Definitely recommend it.

I have lost track of the times that I have written about how wonderful it is to listen to a book written by Gerri Hill and interpreted vocally by Abby Craden.
By now they must be accustomed to such accolades 👍.
It does not take a genius to see what the crux of this story will be all about, and the direction in which it will go.
A totally annoying family to deal with. A marriage torn apart my boredom and infidelity.
An journey into self realization.
An affluent and annoying family intrenched in worrying about what their affluent societal friends will think about what they do and obsessed with appearances.
Combine that with the early realization that two soulmates will somehow survive and find a solution in each other’s arms (and bed 😊)
This is not a new concept. But in the hands of a good author and wonderful narrator, it reads as fresh and very current.
I was totally enraptured by the youngest member of the cast. The college age daughter, discovering her own sexuality and identity, who manages to be the most mature and sensible of all the characters. Combine this with a wryly mature sense of observation and humor makes a gem.

Seriously Great

Cannot say enough good things about Gerri Hills writing or Abby Cradens narrations. Was again caught off guard with how much I loved this book and how well written it was overall. Gerri Hill is a master at writing fleshed out characters that you easily fall in love with.
