Clifhanger ending

This was a good one, my first by author, but it does end in Clifhanger

I really enjoyed this book. I laughed, cried, was frustrated, was filled with suspense. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a nice break from my usual genres.

But the ending….what?!?! I need more! Please tell me there’s a sequel or something! I want more Casey and Blake. The story was amazing

This was so much fun!

Excessive gratuitous gore

Character development took awhile and the gore was excessive. I understand that it’s a zombie novel, but really, some of the descriptions turned my stomach. If that’s what you’re into, you’ll be fine, just wasn’t for me. I didn’t finish the book. I just didn’t care about the characters. :/

NEVER HAVE I EVERRRR

....H8ED a main character more in my LIFE!!!!! HUUUUUNDREDDDDSSSSS of books. possibly thousands. this petulant little dvmb 🐔 i can. not. stand. her. idk if that was the point or the idea, but if it was, they exceeded heavily above and beyond any expectation I could have ever possibly imagined she is literally, absolutely. the. worst. I've never talked to much 💩 to a person who can't hear me and isnt real. like it literally made me physically angry at many points. at first I was like ok she will change. she'll understand her behavior is ridiculous and her thought process is that of a 5th grader, but no! and ill be honest, im not done yet, and the book is decent I like the dad and the guy, the "bully" from FKNH HIGH SCHOOL, LIKE FORVER AGO. but shes still the same!!! most ridiculous main character of all time. I've never had one make me literally talk 💩 out loud as im listening. i will finish the book.The book is not bad.The idea is fantastic but the main character is absolutely ruining for me.Like normally.I like a book that will make me anticipate what's going to happen or make me laugh or any kind of emotion , but I don't expect to feel physically angry against a character in a book like ????
And for extra context , this is the longest review i've ever left on anything ever in the history of my thirty five years on this earth.

Narration great and story was so good !

Enemies to lovers with some humor and zombie action thrown in ?! yes please ! Loved it and cannot wait to get to the sequel !
