Too Slow

I liked this story, but there is just too much. After 10 hours I kept checking how many minutes were left. It became a little tedius. I kept thinking...Just get on with it..like a real yorkshire farmer! But, I doubt that was the intent.
The characters are great. I love the descriptions of the landscape. It took a lon time to get to the end, especially when I knew how it might end. So many false starts and parts from a dog's perspective. Yes, that's right a dog gets to have their voice. Some edits would have helped to tighten the story.
Overall it's okay and won't stop me continuing with the series. Only 2 books to go. If you have gotten this far into the series, then it is worth finishing up, as this series does have an end.
