Denae Lacroix is a beautiful MI5 agent on a deadly mission. Sent to the Scottish Highlands to spy on the mysterious Dreagan Industries, she discovers too late that she's been set up - as human bait. She is an irresistible lure for a man who has not seen or touched a woman for centuries. He is a man with a destiny - and a desire - that could destroy them both. It's been 1,200 years since Kellan has walked among humans - and there's no denying the erotically charged attraction he feels for Denae. But as a Dragon King, he is sworn to protect his secrets. Yet the closer he gets to this smart, ravishing woman, the more her life is in danger. All it takes is one reckless kiss to unleash a flood of desire, the fury of dragons - and the fiercest enemy of all.

Phew! This was a long one, but oh so good! What do you get when you cross a beautiful but bada$$ secret agent with a grouchy but sexy as sin Dragon King? 👑 More erotically charged fireworks than a 4th of July Celebration!

This is no damsel in distress tale, but rather a game charge get your hands dirty, not afraid to fight the evil fae, and stand up to centuries old dragons kind of chick.

Even when Denae was hurt she never let it slow her down. And in those rare times she showed her heart and was vulnerable, were the times the Dragon King, Kellen found her spirit the most fierce.

These two were definitely made for each other. I loved their story.

The side stories are pretty great too, and with a pending war on the horizon, and an unknown enemy still in the wings, it has warriors, druids, light and dark fae, and the Dragon Kings anxiously awaiting to see who will make the first move.

I am loving this series so far!💕

Dear Narrator,

Your Irish brogue is really wonderful and sexy, but the first time you narrated Denae's Texas accented character, I thought it was a joke in the storyline or something, but then I realized disappointingly it wasn't and that you were going to be reading her that way all the way through the book. I only finished the story because that was the only book I had on my phone while on a long trip..
Not sure if it is all female voices or because you were trying to do a Texas accented female voice. I'm sorry, and not trying to be mean but Denae's narration comes across as cartoon-ish and really spoils the story....

Narrator pls STOP trying to do an American accent

Good story, not so good narrator. The narrative for the male characters weren't bad . But the narrative for the female characters especially the American female characters were cringeworthy at best. So if you can get past that give this a listen .

good story
