Publisher's Summary

Idaho! The compound! They had finally made it!

After several months of harrowing, fraught with danger around every corner, never knowing what was going to come at them, they could finally rest and relax. Or could they?

Some things are just not meant to be in a post-apocalyptic world, and Nathan and his newly adopted family realize there is no rest and relaxation anymore.

Join Nathan and his Posse, Lil' Posse and members of the compound as they realize they are in even more danger now than anyone, save Nathan, already knew. Dark Titan: War Zone: Homefront picks up where Dark Titan Journey: Finally Home left off.

A different narrator ruined the story

I hate when your in a series and can't wait until the next one is released only to find the narrator has changed. if that isn't bad enough the ending was horrible. if you use this same narrator, then don't bother

Great Stuff, Lots of Humor

Eric A. Shelman did an excellent job reading except for 1 glaring constant error...calling Aries (said Air-Reez) Aris (said Air-Riss).

My husband and I laughed sooo hard during this book, it definitely increased our enjoyment. Still lots of action and pure grit. It was really great to see how the home front integrated Nathan's supremely well trained "family" into the "Posse". John and Amanda were my favorites as always. Drugs, cannibalism and government corruption were the regularized evils of the day. Clearly there's enough loose ends for another book...which I'd buy instantly. Great stuff!

Not too good.

The first book narrator was hard to get used to. The second and third book narrator was good. This third book I’m about ready to get my money back. Nate went from good looking guy to sounding like he smokes 3 packs a day and has throat cancer. Should have stuck to what sells. The narrator sells your book not so much the story. I’d rather listen to Kevin pierce read a cookbook before I listen to this clown much longer.

Horrible predictable trash writing

Where to start? First book was alright, decent storyline but was too predictable. Second book was boring at best just wanted to finish series but couldn’t get through it all. Main character as usual was multi millionaire with all the possible gear a completely safe grand homestead to get to and 20 families that were just as well off as he was waiting for him. Amazingly he picks up a bunch of kids and was able to kill all the gangs of looters and the bad government men and get all the way across the country in one piece. Unrealistic trash writing. Btw letting a 13y/o girl curse and talk like you did is not funny or cute just shows what a pos the author really is.

Lucas S

Over the past week I've listed to the first three books and saw this one was available so gave it a go. The narration is absolutely god awful. after the first 10 minutes I returned the book, which is sad because I enjoyed the first three so much. I will have to see about getting a hard copy.

Recommendation - A Good Series to Listen or Read

I thoroughly enjoyed the Kindle and am always hoping Thomas A Watson's Kindle books will be produced on Audible. The Dark Titan, Forgotten Forbidden America, Stolen Liberty and Viral Misery are "AWESOME" series and a must read and or listen. I am always impatiently hoping and waiting for the next instalment You will not be disappointed as each book in the series just gets better and better, You will not be disappointed in the books this author produces :-)

this didn't get any better

I am requesting a refund for the entire series, I tried to find something redeemable in this series by listening to it twice this time at a rate of 140 just to get through it and found about two maybe two and a half paragraphs of useful information. YES, YES it was fiction but even within fiction there should be something within the book that a reader can relate to, that's called the hook, never found it. The entire series could have been a decent book just 1 book if the useless banter, cursing and unbelievable diatribe would have been removed and the author would have concentrated on a better version of the story.

Fantastic!

Another fantastic instalment in the Dark Titan series, fast paced and action packed, with some memorable characters. I was hooked from the beginning and was finished far too quickly, this series is so addictive! Wonderful narration by Eric Shelman.

ending strange

I have listened to other books in series and they were pretty good, but this book had a lot of wasted dialogue that seemed to be filling the pages, not a lot of action or real support for the story up to this point.
I was waiting for the story to begin all the way through this book. Disappointing

What happened?

The author, apparently, deleted this book twice only to seek the assistance of another writer as he was having a difficult time getting the characters right after a bit of an absence. To be honest, I wish he would have deleted this version and just trusted his gut. None of the characters were ‘right’ and changing narrators only made it worse.

Too many ‘you should have been there’ stories between the main character with his reunited friends.

Overall, wordy with violence (the dog training segment) that added nothing to the story.

I hope the author ditches the co-writer and returns with the previous narrator. Even though this is disappointing, I would like to end this series on a position note. I hope there is more.
