if the author was fishing, she just set the hook.

This the best written in the series thus far. You really begin to feel for the characters, not just observe them.

Satisfying wrap up for a few characters

Tenaya comes through again with book four in her Regia saga. Her heroine Forest takes a back seat in this one; this story is all about wrapping up the arc of someone who started out as a side character to be pitied, but soon became one of the most interesting of all, in my opinion. In fact, now that she has been gifted what I would definitely call an upgrade, I would hate it if we never see this character again! I think book 3, Verdant, is my favorite, but this could be the most satisfying of the series so far. On to book 5!

love love love this series this book however....

this book tells netrices story and start on the obvious set up for the next book however i feel that the stuff that happens with forest went no where

This one took a look into aka "Netty" or her actual name Netrete who was brought back to life by Shy and suffers from an unknown entity she calls the "shadow " that entered originally into her eye and continues to talk to her and causes her to do things that darken her soul she has a hard time trying to fighting the shadow at times she try everything from ignoring it trying to kill herself to end the nightmare but even that is out of her control.

Full of surprises!

I couldn't wait for each book, as they are so exciting ! Each book has been better and better!
