Publisher's Summary

Wes and Raider have found themselves in the thick of things once again.

The KGR are hitting back relentlessly and, with Jessica’s group feared to be wiped out, the homestead falls into a quiet panic.

Paranoia is running rampant, and rightly so: there’s a mole who has been working for Spider in their midst.

After learning more about how the KGR operate, and where some of their caches are, Wes’s group goes on the offensive.

Everything changes with Jess’s revelation; they know they have to keep the pressure up to keep their freedom.

Even with Spider’s taunting and the knowledge that he has more moles planted within Wes’s inner circle, the group pushes on.

They are outmanned, outgunned, and running low on supplies.

It’s time for them to become even more unconventional.

Wes has to go back to his roots to come up with a plan to not only flush out the traitors, but to put a major hurt on their foes.

The group has underestimated the ruthless nature of the KGR and is thinking they are finally getting ahead of their enemies, when Emily starts to unravel.

There’s hope, but will that dark hope be enough for everyone to still survive?

Author trying to get rich faster

This gut uses my credits to give me 3/4 of a book and ends with a cliff-hanger to get us to buy the next novelette. Bad practice and pretty lousy for Audible to let this happen.

Great Story - Ripoff Price

The good: This is a great story with excellent narration. The bad: A ripoff, at full price for half of a book at a time.

Still Surviving Hope Is not Lost

For me, not as good as the others. I felt this was more of a transition than a continuation. This one delved into the lives of the the players a little more which is ok but I thought it was too much home life detail with little action. The action scenes were great as always just wanted a little more action and less talking.
Good story line and I will continue to follow. As always exceptional narration.

better not stop at book 4

there better be a book 5 in the works... you can't develop all of that and leave it where it stopped at the end of this book (4).

Great book but super expensive

I love these book and I enjoy supporting this author.
The stories are thought provoking and entertaining, some of the best of this genre. That being said they are incredibly expensive a 5 hour mini book for the cost of a whole book is boarder line unethical, but it’s my choice to spend the money so I guess that’s on me. I get the guy needs to make a living and audible takes a huge cut and that sucks. Craven is becoming a favorite author of mine a guy you love to hate.

Another great book

What a great book, this book as it all. End of the world, prepping ideas. Love, hate, it will make you laugh, cry. It has it all. Very happy with this series

Good story, great narration, not enough value for the dollars.

I like the story and Kevin Pierce is one of the best narrators going, but releasing serial shorts and charging as much as some great twenty-thirty hour novels has lost me. I’d love to see what happens to Wes, Emily, and Jess, but I won’t spend another credit for a story that won’t even carry me through a full shift at work. Double the length and I’ll reconsider.
