This was so exciting! Who is Emmett or more importantly what is he? Leon and Anna’s story continues, as well as their love, but is she a dormant or not? Then there is Margaret. Why does she seem familiar to Bowen? I love the continuity of this series! Every book builds on the last!

Dark Haven Unmasked is book 48 in the Children of the Gods series and the second in the Dark haven trilogy. The story of Leon and Anastasia continues.
After escaping Safe Haven, Leon takes Ana to the mountains where he can woo and possibly induce her transition. Leaving Peter and Eleanor to figure out what is up with Emmet Haderech and tease out the secrets of Safe Haven. When the Guardian, the Outsider and the Leader find out each other secret no one feels safe. Love this where this story line is going, and how new characters are being woven into the storyline, another 5 star review from me.
I highly recommend reading the Perfect Match spin-off, it will enrich the reading of this trilogy.

Syssi's visions
I think it's cool that leon could go to project in to an animal's mind. Anna is definitely putting a lot of things together. My last review said stella when I meant Eleanor.. She is still super hot and cold and very abrasive, I guess I need to know more in order to understand her. But so far, her and wendy are my least favorite. I thought it was pretty cool that we got to see what happened in the cult with Emmett. Although I was expecting a little more. I definitely thought he was immortal. Not human. Turn out there is definitely more there. That will soon be unfolded, and that syssi's visions seems to be coming to pass.

The nature of cults and perspective on life.
The story continues on rescue and retrieval of victims by organized and clever means. Introduction of new characters gives added value to those currently engaged while introducing intertwining plots of the many involved. Great read!
