Publisher's Summary

New York Times best-selling author David Horowitz exposes not only the progressive war against Christianity but also a war against America and its founding principles - which are Christian in their origin. Dark Agenda is about an embattled religion, but, most of all, it is about our imperiled nation. Tackling a broad range of issues from prayer in the schools to the globalist mindset, Horowitz traces the anti-Christian movement to its roots in communism. When the communist empire fell, progressives did not want to give up their utopian anti-God illusions, so instead they merely changed the name of their dream. Instead of “communism,” progressives have re-branded their movement as “social justice.”

Dark Agenda shows how progressives are prepared to use any means necessary to stifle their opponents who support the concepts of religious liberty that America was founded on and how the battle to destroy Christianity is really the battle to destroy America.

Another Gem From David Horowitz

David has a unique perspective on the neo left. His efforts as a radical rabble rouser for so many years give him clarity in hiw he describes the left's insatiable desire to "fundamentally change the United States of America."

Dark Agenda does a great job of shedding light on the players that made huge changes in public policy, societal norms, and supreme court decisions that we take for granted today. How are atheists today like the Jacobins and Russian Marxists? How did a psycho kook like Madalyn Murray get to the Supreme Court and change public school forever? Could Roe v Wade have passed if a Constitutional right to privacy had not been invented or off thin air?
Why was the Obama white house spitefully hateful to groups like the little sister of the poor?

Horowitz ties these together by addressing the core values that they all share... genuine bigotry and disdain for Christianity and western culture.

This book is an excellent read. Check out our book interview by Googling Oh Hale Yeah Horowitz.

Relevant and up to date

A very enlightening and informative book I liked because it covered a lot of recent American History as well as referring to things in our country's past.A thought provoking book but parts if it might not be suitable for a young audience. This might be reading for those who are more on a college level and should be considered very noteworthy reading for anyone wanting to know about the cultural war America is in like never before.

One of the most important books for today

I am amazed at this book. This is one of the most important books I have read. Great historical facts! The Christian apologetics written in this book by an agnostic Jew should shame about 80% of the clergy. He does a better job than the great majority of pastors or Sunday school teachers.
I hope I can someday meet and talk with Mr. Horowitz. Wish I could take him to Israel to speak with my good Israeli friends there.

The Lefts war on faith.

Very well written. Accurately depicts the lefts longstanding war on those that practice faith and appreciate the fact that America was founded on faith based principles.

Very good research by the author

The chapter on the God hating anti-Christian bigot (President Obama) thoroughly documents Obama's war on the 1st Amendment freedom of religion.

Dark agenda review

Author did an excellent job proving his point with substantial factual support. It was hard to get through some of the philosophical discussions and personal history in the first few chapters. It is a great wake up call about the Democrat party.

Look what they've done to our beloved country

Listened to the audiobook & what an education. The author knows whereof he speaks having been on both sides of the fence & having had a mighty change of heart he tells of the divide & forces working to destroy our culture & liberties. Sad to see the lies & deceit in denying & rewriting our history. Very well presented.

Spot On Horowitz!!!

This book has verbalized what I have been feeling for the last 30 years. I was born in 1966 and have viewed the 60’s as the decade where USA lost its conscience and began drifting off course. Thank you David Horowitz for writing this book and explaining the feelings of conservative Americans. The Democratic Party would do well to take note.

courageous truth

This book is essential to understanding US history of the last 60 years. If you are objective and can think outside the straitjacket of leftist propaganda, you must listen to this book. As a lover of what America once was and once stood for, it was hard to listen to the hard reality exposed by this book.

A Must Read for Every Patriot

This book beautifully explains why our country is so divided and the path that has gotten us here. Should be required reading for all high school and college students as well as adults dismayed at the state of our country.

Eye opening

Great insight into political America and the changing winds of time. I would have preferred the author to have narrated it though.
