ourselves, and that is what makes it dangerous.
Today, we live in a culture obsessed with perfectionism, status quo, and pretending. As the wife
of a professional baseball player, Brittany struggled to live up to the expectations, pressures, and
perceptions of the people surrounding her, and found herself lost and confused of her own identity, constantly living in survival mode. Immersed in a period of intense and prolonged grief, Brittany questioned not just herself, but God and the religion she’d believed in all her life.
