Damnation is narrated by Kelsey Osborne. She does an awesome job. I’m seriously looking forward to listening to further stories in the Blue Moon Saloon series. If you like great paranormal romance that features wolves and bears where danger is always waiting in the wings you’re going to love this series.

Great start

I enjoyed the story. The author held my interest all the way to end and I'm curious to read the other two books in the trilogy. Maybe the author will include stories about the wolves. The narrator was surprisingly good. Can't find to many people that can narrate.

Great Start to Shifter Series

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend to any friend that loved shifters. Would also recommend to those that are willing to try something different.

What did you like best about this story?

I loved the whole story but my love affair started when Jessica walks into a bar. Also love how a shifter lets you know where their territory is.

Have you listened to any of Kelsey Osborne’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have not listened to other performances but that will change when I listen to the second book in this series.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The moment that moved me was the point where Jessica and her sister started to insert themselves into the everyday workings of the bar. Simon didn't know what hit him. It's a story that shows how two people with diverse backgrounds can love each other. Just like in real life, we have to stop judging a person by what they are or what they look like. Jessica has such a kind heart that you don't want to see her get hurt.

Any additional comments?

I loved listening to this book. Having Ms. Osborne read the story allowed me to really concentrate on what she was saying as I went about cleaning my yard. She also made me realize that I was missing something. This story picks up where the prequel leaves off. Once I read the prequel and find out how Jessica and Simon come to meet, I'll listen to this one again. And I can't wait to listen to the next book in the Blue Moon Saloon series. At this point, I can see myself listening to this series more than once.

great story great narrating.

loved this story, looking forward to next audio book. i got lost in the story and got through my gym workout without realizing how hard I worked. Loved the bear and his wolf and the hardships they went through to get back together.

Sensuous and suspenseful shifter story

Audible Version: I enjoyed this second chance romance story with a bear and a wolf shifter who fall in love and then are separated by circumstance. A good solid storyline, with likeable characters.
The narration seemed almost flat to me, but acceptable.

As my first audiobook, I had no idea what to expect. I will be honest in saying, I thought that the voices of the guys would be narrated by a guy. At first it was very strange to listen to a female 'trying' to sound like a guy. Once I was past that, the rest was smooth sailing. The story was enjoyable and the characters were fun to get to know. Each kind of quirky in their own way. It's great for fans of shifter romances!

Second chances at happily ever after. With a past better left in the past, Jessica Macks finds herself faced with a past she rather forget, Simon Voss. A wolf and a bear will never work out.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Jessica because she is a strong female, who kicks butt, and continues to do what she can to improve her and her sister's lives in the face of some really heart-wrenching events.

What about Kelsey Osborne’s performance did you like?

She has a great tone to her voice, and put the right amount of emotion into each scene.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, definitely! I love shifters and second-chance romance, so once I started, I didn't want to stop!

Loved this! Second chance romance with shifters, I'm all on board for that! Jessica and her sister, Janna, are starting new at the Blue Moon Saloon after their whole pack was wiped out by Rogue shifters. They are wolf shifters, and Jessica is very thankful to have found a place at the Blue Moon, but when she finds out her new boss is a past lover, she isn't too happy, but there isn't anywhere else for her and her sister to go, so Jessica is going to have to just deal with it. Jessica was deeply hurt by Simon when he broke things off with her without much explanation, and finds it difficult to be in his presence; especially since her wolf wants her mate, and Jessica is still affected by being near Simon. Simon is a bear shifter, and he can't believe it when Jessica walks into the Saloon; his bear growls mate and wants to make her his, but Simon hurt Jessica when he broke it off, so his bear is just going to have to wait. I love that there is POV's from both Jessica and Simon! Jessica is a strong and intelligent woman, and I really felt for her, when she lost her pack and when Simon turned her away. The romance is so sweet and wonderful, and Simon was adorable! I love that he rubs up on stuff! I know that sounds a bit weird, but it's a shifter story, so I think it fits. I love that he is a bit of a gruff bear, but his soft side comes out with Jessica. I also like that we get some action scenes, and I really enjoyed the writing! I also loved all the side characters, and I am super excited to read each of their books! This is a great shifter read, and I'm definitely looking forward to more from Anna Lowe!!

An enjoyable experience.

An enjoyable experience. This is my first audible book but will not be my last. I enjoyed the flexibility of being able to listen whilst doing other things. The narration is quite good but I find it difficult having one voice doing many characters. BOOK REVIEW A great new series coming up. I read the prequel PERFECTION before this book and it was so sweet. You do not need to have read it but it makes what happens in this book so much sadder. Jessie has done nothing wrong but been left by her unmated mate. She has suffered 3 years of hurt and then things get worse. Her pack is wiped out by purist rogues that only her and her sister Janna escaped from. Jess believes she could have done more to help her pack and her guilt at not fighting enough, on top of not being wanted by her mate and living on the run has taken her from being a feisty she wolf to a shadow of herself. Simon thought he was doing the right thing in hurting Jessie and turning her away and making her hate him. What a ninny. Why do males not understand that talking can solve so much. IF Simon had told Jessie what was going on, IF he had not hurt her so bad, they may have been able to be together and their respective pack and clans may have been able to help and protect each other from the rogues. Big IF I know. All in all a very enjoyable read with a good storyline that is leading to a series of books for some of the other lovely characters we meet in this book. Really want Soren to have his HEA. This is my honest review of this book.

Good start to new series....

What did you like best about this story?

The relationships that were built throughout the story. Between sisters, brothers, mates, friends and their community. This story is about a lost love...but also a forbidden love that needs lots of nurturing to try to mend on everyone's part.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

I would've liked to hear more inflection and differentiation in the characters voices. Especially between the males and the females.

A good start to a new shifter series. A good foundation was set to get to know the characters and a foundation was built to continue with the series. Not a long listen, I finished in one sitting.

Fast paced story with an amazing narrator that has found the characters to a T,laughter and tears and anger this book has it all !!!!

Its unfair to just try and think of one scene .....One i loved was when Jess went to save the kid from the fire (trying hard not to write spoilers here)

This is the first book of the series i listened and also the first book of this author and it really caught me off guard that so long i hadn't read or listened anything by the author!
A must must must listen series!!!!!
