It’s hard not to LOVE these characters

I found this book after watching The Ultimatum Queer Love on Netflix and it was just what I needed! Perfect and heartwarming, just enough romance to leave you wanting more. Excited to try another book by Chencia Higgins.

Marriage via reality show

This is my first review that I have written about a book I listened to. I absolutely loved this story. I loved how it was written and how it was presented by the person reading the book. I would recommend listening to this cute story of how two people met and actually fell in love.

Such a Lovely story

I definitely enjoyed the story and will listen to it again and again. There were parts that were cringey for me. There were the parts that made me laugh out loud, and I had to hold back the tears as to not wake my wife. This book has all the feels. I did not like the recording it is a bit choppy but I enjoyed the narration. All and all 4 stars 4 me.

Captivating

An unapologetically black, lesbian love story that you can't put down and leaves you wanting a sequel. The characters, leading and supporting, were charming and the love between the two leading women was believable. The exploration of family dynamics was wonderfully captured. The narration was a breath of fresh air.

PERFECTION!

This book was sooooo good! It took me through every emotion and I found myself rooting for Kris & D’Vaughn like I had known them my entire life! THIS is the Black Queer Representation I’ve been waiting for 😭❤️
