Thomas Edison discovered alternate current?

There are a lot of factual errors, misused units and other issues in the book. Definitely not recommended, especially for beginners, based on the first chapters I did listen.

Too generalised

This book is good as a starting point for an absolute beginner, however still lacked some of the basic theory required to design small PV systems. There were many errors and also generalisations that dont always hold true. Alot more could have been done in the same time taken.

Mechanical and uninformative

This reads like it was written by a poor AI, and is less informative than a wiki page, but takes 3.5 hours to explain it to you. The narration is mechanical and boring.

Poorly written

Bad information like "Edison invented AC current" and just the repeat of "Bare in Mind"

Love how the audible version comes to life

This is a well done book with information about solar panels, installation, great systems, many things that I did not know. Book says there are many people who go off the grid because of not having solar panel systems. This is highly recommended book if you're interested in this area.

This is a Life-changing book

Over the last two weeks, I've managed to come across two of the best entry level solar power books I've ever read. This is one of them. It clearly and easily explains not only what you need for a solar system, but also the math behind the household needs. It shows how to balance cost versus what you would need for a good solid backup in case of storms. Awesome!
