Publisher's summary

She was raised to fear them. Now she's become her own worst enemy....

America, 2055. Cass is equal parts excited and nervous to leave her Sapiens Movement enclave. Stepping away from her technologically conservative family for the first time, she sets off for college with dreams of saving humanity. But as the Sapiens girl falls for her cybernetically enhanced roommate, her deeply programmed beliefs begin to glitch....

Confused in a world that no longer makes sense, Cass barely registers the horrific accident that leaves her near death. When she wakes up, she discovers the same technology she's always hated is the only thing keeping her alive. No longer purely human, Cass questions everything she thought she knew about good and evil.

As tensions between man and machine head for a meltdown, Cass must choose a side before the conflict turns deadly....

Cyber's Change is the first book in the heartfelt Sapiens Run cyberpunk trilogy. If you like strong female characters, dystopian futures, and exploring what it means to be human, then you’ll love Jamie Davis’s thought-provoking novel.

This book triggers so many things

In my opinion this is a really good book.
I had wishful thinking about the day two women can be Gay and its normal. Two people resolving their differences with love and peace. Just as there is today. There's a group of hate mongers. Who are afraid of equality and freedom.
Looking forward to Book 2 in the series.

lots to like about this story

this is a great first installment to the story. The characters are quite engaging. The setting was wonderful believable without being too far advanced with future technology. The love between the girls is nice to see and is not the focal point of the story which makes it even better. I went into this book looking for a lesbian adventure with strong female leads. their relationship did not need to be the main focus of the story that they were lesbians. this really did that it is about the prejudiced between the unenhanced in the enhanced human which I really like the story. I cannot wait for the next installment and I'm setting that I have to wait till probably the end of June.

not what I expected.

I liked this story. it started and felt like a lot of colledge student romances except that they were gay. I love that their sexuality is not an issue for anyone in their time and that the drama comes from other things.
I will be going back again.
I love the cyber but it feels odd. it is highly advanced and feels common place in part but also a hidden away 1% of the population and major mods are done seemingly on a wim or just for effect. While some people now get major mods and full on tats and scarification these people did not feel like that.
I feel it was a bit short as if it was part one of a book. as if a single book was broken into small bits so that they then have 3 books. i feel ripped off a little.

Interesting story line

Love the LGBTQIA support and the story line is very intriguing!!
Can definitely tell a man trying to write women… that was frustrating… but ok books overall. I read them all because the story line is very intriguing
