great reminder in rhyme

Don't forget to just pick up the phone and call people who needed and who are alone. Someone whose spouse has died. Someone who is now disabled and cannot get out. Someone who used to be your neighbor or your coworker. Someone whose divorced and lost half their friends. So many people are in need of a little kindness and just pick up the phone and say hello and ask how they are on holidays throughout the year whether it is valentine's day or a birthday or anytime during the year. I had people.I always called every sunday and checked on.

Nostalgic

Every year my uncle would read this to our family at my grandparent’s Christmas party. I listened to it this year here because my uncle and grandparents have long since passed. This was what I needed to help remember some great christmas memories.

What Christmas is all about

These two are not only beautifully written poems but they hold the story of what Christmas means! Many times I have recite it or listen to a cup of Christmas tea but only this year have I discovered the counterpart the sequel on memory of Christmas tea and it just adds to the joy and the deep meaning of Christmas that Tom Haik gives us in these two beautiful pieces of poetry filled with the Christmas spirit.
