Mmmmmmm..... a lovely listen

I love Mercy Thompson series and this follows on and I was not disappointed. I couldn't stop listening to it, good wolf-shifter romance story with interesting characters and an evil witch.

I was a bit lost in the beginning and noticed another reviewer mentioned Alpha and Omega in the book On The Prowl which, no doubt, would have helped a lot but it's not available on Audible and it's by no means absolutely necessary as the storyline is soon picked up.

Worth the credit? I've downloaded all available - so what do you think.

Sweet Romance with Great Story

The story was not full of sex. The romance was sweet. I also liked the plot. It went together smoothly.

overall a great book

This book is well written and well read. The only thing that lowers it a bit is that unless you know to get the short story first and read it, it is hard to understand what exactly happened to Anna.

Cry Wolf

This story starts immediately after the events in the short story, Alpha & Omega in the Shifting Shadows compilation. You can get the short story as a stand alone, but it still costs 1 credit & the compilation gives you many short stories in Mercy Thompson’s world for the price of one.

I love Anna & Charles, they are so good together! I also like that the conflict came thru a different character & got Bran involved. So often in the MT books, he’s just a powerful figure head waiting in the shadows.

The narrator did a good job; lovely character voices & except for Bran, I could always tell who was speaking, even without the identifying names. Highly recommend. 👍👍

Good Story

Although, bogged down some by too mych negative self talk. The story really should have been read by Lorelei King. Okay reader, but Lorelei does a way better Charles!

Love it!

Fantastic story in the Mercy Thompson universe! I almost like this better! The only drawback for me was the narrators voice for Charles.

Recording was choppy at times similar to streaming issues. Loved it otherwise. Made me 😃.

Patricia Briggs is never a bad bet when it comes to a good book and the narrator is great too.
