The author's voice used in reading the book is perfect. The many stories, and details of each, is fascinating.

Life changing insight into the Old Testament

Fr. Mawdsley’s writing has opened such a new understanding of Old Testament scripture for me. His entire New/Old series is truly enlightening and clarifies so many Old Testament stories and figures that I have always struggled to make sense of. His narration in the audio book is also extremely comforting. I now find myself reading the Bible in his voice.
