What You’ll Learn
This course includes Lessons 26-30 from the Croatian Level 1 program featuring 2.5 hours of language instruction. Each lesson provides 30 minutes of spoken language practice, with an introductory conversation, and new vocabulary and structures. Detailed instructions enable you to understand and participate in the conversation. Practice for vocabulary introduced in previous lessons is included in each lesson. The emphasis is on pronunciation and comprehension, and on learning to speak Croatian.

Good, but needs more supplemental reading material

I agree in part with the Pimsleur method of learning language like a child learns, by listening and participation. But without additional reading material, the lessons can be difficult. It is sometimes difficult to tell how words are spelled, or if you are even hearing word pronounced correctly. I used Google Translate with each lesson to check my assumptions and this helped immensely. Pimsleur should have included in the PDF document ALL conversations from all lessons, with translation to English. In order to communicate in any language you must be able to read it as well as speak it. There are, however, few options online for learning Croatian, so this option is still viable to get to a basic level of fluency. We really need more levels to obtain intermediate or advanced Croatian language skills.
