In partnership with Fred Astaire Dance Studios (East Lakeview), we talk about how dance can help with anxiety and depression on your path to living life to the fullest. In our meaningful, fun conversation with our personal trainer and friend, Jakobi you’ll not only be craving some Nebraskan delicacies, fried potatoes, and our Papa Marshall’s protein-packed tuna & cottage cheese recipe (promise, it’s crave-worthy) but you’ll also be inspired to become the most fit and fun version of yourself! Jakobi's story of turning some lemons in her life into “lemon bars” is truly one-of-a-kind. You’ll learn about her own personal weight loss and fitness journey, and how that moved her to become a National Academy of Sports Medicine certified personal trainer. She has quickly created a big reputation — in our gym and on social media — as a compassionate, uplifting coach with the strong belief that women of all ages and sizes belong in the weight room! We, Sari and Lauren, also share on the podcast + social media about finding comfort and in the gym through training with Jakobi.
