Publisher's Summary

A brilliant research scientist, William Mears, is working on his thesis to receive his doctorate from the University of Southern California. The focus of his dissertation is to discover how to repair injuries to the human body that are considered to be irreparable leveraging adult stem cells. After many failures, he comes to the conclusion that the only way to truly repair these tissues is through the use of embryonic stem cells (ESCs). But these cells can't come from just any source - they need to be ESCs from the specific individual in need of healing. In other words, William needs to figure out a way to create a human embryonic clone.

While William's intent is innocent and focused on the betterment of mankind, he has unknowingly opened up the door to a malevolent evil that reveals itself in ever increasing dreadful ways.

Creation Abomination explores human ethical dilemmas in a fast-paced, high-tech story involving ingenious scientists, complex relationships, and the battle between good and evil, bringing together realistic scenarios with the supernatural.

Once it gets started hang on for a great ride!

Hang on until at least the 7th chapter where things start hopping... you'll be glad you did. Thompson weaves a riveting story of a altruistic scientist who develops an amazing technology to bless mankind, then watches in horror as dark forces twist it around for what purpose, only the devil himself knows. Will the scientist be able to stop Armageddon? A real page turner.

Unique Story with Unexpected Twists

I finished Creation Abomination a few days ago, and I find myself often thinking back on the unique storyline. The characters develop deep internal conflicts that push the boundaries for the reader. Even if the decisions made by the protagonist were for the greater good, does that make them right? I imagine this will be a debate amongst many readers after reading Creation Abomination all the way through. I love the modern/futuristic battle between good and evil in a setting that seems plausible for our current state in the world. The ethical dilemma presented with cloning is intriguing, and the author is well-versed in the subject. Overall I would suggest this book to any sci-fi lovers, or those looking for a unique storyline rooted in religion and science. I can't wait for the next installment!

Intellectually entertaining, scientifically challenging, and overall deep and interesting. Thompson does a great job of painting and describing everything so you feel as if you are right with William seeing everything he and his fellow characters see and feel. My mind was blown more than one time while listening to the audiobook. Excited for the next installment of the series!

Alan is the modern-day Frank E Peretti

This book will appeal to two types of readers. Those who love the epic clash between good and evil, light and darkness, and angels and demons. If you ever read Frank Peretti or Dan Brown then you will enjoy its thrilling depth and excitement of spiritual warfare. The other reader this book is for are those who are fascinated with the lab life of scientists, doctors, and engineers. Alan Thompson does an impeccable job at bringing you into their world of lofty projects, tinkering with test tubes and lab paraphernalia in meticulous detail and precision. I found myself feeling like I was in a lab working right beside his characters which was a fun and new experience for me.

Edge of your seat

This book received 5 stars all around. It has an enticing story that keeps you wanting to listen. The readers speak clearly and are very good at articulating the emotion. This story makes you question the possibility of what happens when you play with science. Is it always a good thing to push the limits or can you go too far? You can be confident knowing that this book will keep you entertained and happy with your purchase.

Good Read!

This book was so good! It took me a minute to get into it and the narration wasn’t the best I’ve heard, but overall the book was well worth the read! Once I really got into the story, I always looked forward to the next time I could pick it up.
