In CRASHING INTO LOVE...

Fiona Steele has a great career, strong friendships, and a loving family. To an outsider, her life appears happy and fulfilling. But the one thing that's missing is true love, and the only man Fiona wants is the one she can't have, sinfully handsome and seductively intense Jake Braden - the man whose heart she broke, which she has regretted ever since.

As an LA stuntman, Jake Braden's at the top of his game. He's hired for all the best movies, hooks up with the hottest women, and lives an unencumbered lifestyle where his needs come first - and where he doesn't have to examine his life too closely. Except when he visits his family in his close-knit hometown of Trusty, Colorado, where he spends his time avoiding Fiona - the only woman who knows who he really is.

When Fiona's best friend is hired to act in Jake's movie, Fiona jumps at the chance to try to win him back. There's no denying the white-hot attraction burning between them. With every encounter, Fiona hopes Jake can't resist falling back into the love they once shared. But her well-orchestrated rendezvous doesn't go over well with the brooding heartthrob. Living in the fast lane is perfect for a guy who's buried his emotions so damn deep he's not sure he can remember how to feel - and he's not sure he ever wants to.

A PERFECT MATCH.

Swoony Second Chance

Crashing Into Love is the sixth book in the Braden’s at Trusty, Co series. It can be read as a standalone. It is a second chance romance for Fiona Steele and Jake Braden who fell in love once upon a time until Fiona moved away from Trusty leaving Jake and his broken heart behind. “We just need to figure out how to navigate the rest of the world, and we’ll either sink or swim. I’m a really good swimmer. The question is, how long can you hold your breath?” I loved listening to this story on audiobook. The narrator really brings Jake to life and let’s us really get into his head as he tries to decide if he should open up and trust that he won’t be destroyed again. -4 Stars!-

Great Read

Crashing into Love was another great read by Melissa Foster. Fiona has everything that she ever wanted except the man she left many years ago. Jake has been hiding all his pain from Fiona’s heartbreak by working and bringing home any woman he wanted. I loved reading Jake and Fiona’s second chance at love and cant wait to read more by Melissa Foster.

Love Jake and Fiona! Love second chances!

As always BJ Harrison is amazing at the narration of this wonderful story about love, forgiveness and second chances. Jake and Fiona were last together as teens and they had so much in common. But now they are living such very different lifestyles. I loved how the reemergence of Fiona into Jake’s life made him see how shallow his life has become with the acceptance of his relation with his family. I love how she squelched her fear and took a chance that maybe just maybe he still lives her despite the way she left him years earlier. Jake is sweet, charming and sexy but most of all he is forgiving and loves Fiona enough to try again. Amazing read/listen that left me smiling!

Jake & Fiona Loved the audiobook

In several of the Braden books we hear mention of Jake coming home to Colorado to visit but always avoiding Fiona. Now we have their story. Jake has returned to LA but he feels unsettled in his own home. Fiona is on Jake’s turf as she is an assist to the actress in the lead role in the movie where Jake is the stunt man. He really can’t avoid her anymore so he will have to deal with her and the feelings they both have. B J Harrison narrates this beautiful story of two people finding their way back. His voice kept me riveted as did the words written by five star author Melissa Foster. Loved it.

Wicked and Naughty

Melissa has written a wickedly hot, unique plot. B. J. Harrison is super great narrating this one. Jake Braden is a LA stuntman and he is hired for all the best movies. He had his heart broken when the love of his life, Fiona Steele broke up with him when they got out of high school. Jake worked hard and played harder after his heartbreak and every woman was after him. Fiona has regretted it ever since. When her best friend Trish Ryder is hired to be the leading female in a movie that Jake would be in, she goes with her in the hope to win Jake's love back. Their passion had been deep and hot. Would some mistakes never get fixed? A must listen!

Love

As the final book to the Trusty Braden's this one didn't disappoint. I like the way that Jake and Fiona have history. It makes the fact that they fell in love so fast easier to relate to. It's hard to not cheer for this couple. They have many obstacles to overcome, but they have the love and support from family and friends to help them thru. A must read, as are the rest of the Love in Bloom series. Audiobooks are awesome and BJ does an amazing job.

Young Love

I had the pleasure of listening to the audiobook of Crashing into Love. B.J. Harrison was the narrator and he does an awesome job with the voices and really gets you into the story. This story is of Jake Braden and Fiona Steel. Jake is a stuntman and Fiona is a geologist. They used to date back in school for 2 years before Fiona broke Jake's heart. They both made plans to go away to college together and live happily ever after. Fiona mom convinced her ro go away to college single and experience college life. So Fiona ended the relationship 2 weeks before they were set to go. Jake was completely blindsided. Fiona took off and left Jake hurt and alome. Fiona has regretted that decision for a long time. Now they are both back in their hometown of Trusty and Fiona has made it her mission to get Jake back no matter what. Only problem is Jake is still really hurt and wants nothing to do with Fiona. He cant even look at her. Fiona will stop at nothing to get her man back no matter the cost. Can she do it. Read to find out. I loved it.

Second chance at love

Jake and Fiona have been given a second chance to face their feelings for one another after 16 years of being apart. But can they deal with their past and move on?

In those 16 years, each of them have grown up and chased their own dreams and now they have a chance to face them together. They have an obvious chemistry but need to let down their defenses to move on.

2nd chance romances can be dicey and hard to write but Melissa has done a good job with this one. I like the narrator that she has chosen to read this book.. B.J. Harrison does a great job and believe me, the choice of narrator can make or break an audio book. All in all an enjoyable book.

Well worth the wait

We have heard about Jake in previous books and the mention of Fiona, who he doesn't like to talk about. The book was well worth the wait. They have a history with Fiona leaving without a word to Jake. Several years later they are reunited on set of her best friends new movie. While Fiona is ready to face Jake , he tried his hardest to avoid her. They are meant to be together and work through past demons. Great interaction with Fiona and Trish, look forward to listening to her book. Great book and a great music playlist.
