Publisher's summary

"Mia Sosa delivers wish fulfillment with off-the-charts sparks.”—Entertainment Weekly

Relationships are a thing of the past for Eva Montgomery. Her current motto? You can’t spell “manipulative” without man. But Eva has needs, and a one-night-stand at her best friend’s wedding is the perfect way to kick off her new approach to singledom. Then a job opportunity puts her in the same city with the guy she can’t forget . . .

Anthony Castillo is a perpetual bachelor—no strings, just flings—a status he maintains by being honest about his intentions and never looking back. So why is he still thinking about the firecracker of a woman who rocked his world at his cousin’s wedding? It’s a question he refuses to answer, until she comes crashing back into his life, taking his emotional walls down with her.

When her father doubts her ability to make it in LA, Eva vows to go big and prove him wrong. With her athletic background, she’s an ideal candidate for stunt work. But first she’ll need training, and the instructor is none other than her former hookup, Anthony Castillo. Except he’s not as cocky as she remembers and he’s definitely still sexy as sin. The only problem is . . . Anthony doesn’t want her anywhere near his stunt school—or his heart.

"Snappy writing imbued with a deliciously acerbic sense of humor . . . the go-to author for fans of sassy and sexy contemporary romances.”—Booklist

“The third and final installment in the Love on Cue series is charming and funny... An engaging romance that begins by packing a loud and sizzling punch.”—Kirkus Reviews

“In the wrap-up to her Love on Cue series, rising romance star Sosa once again delivers the goods for readers with another compulsively readable contemporary romance fashioned from equal measures of memorable, multilayered characters; addictively zingy humor; mouthwatering descriptions of Puerto Rican dishes; and some red-hot, boldly sensual love scenes.”—Booklist (starred review)

“This final book in the “Love on Cue” series glows with equal parts sass and sensuality...”—Library Journal

We like it!

Although this story used a very common trope of “I’ll never love again“, it was done with a very dynamic couple, lots of loving family, and a nice twist at the end.

The female narrator was great when she was doing this femail voice, but not so much when she was doing the male voice. The male narrator was pretty good all the way around. In all, it was a pretty nice experience.

Good storyline but….

When the female narrator is doing the male’s voice, it’s take away from the steamy scenes. It’s monotone and dry. It makes it seems like there’s not chemistry with the characters so you have over look it when she’s doing the male voice. Her as the female character is great though.

Cute story: Narration brought overall down

What a cute story, Mia! Great job. In general, the narration was okay, but when it came to emotion and sexy times, Marissa did not really deliver consistently or with emotion. It dragged down the overall rating. I think Noah was okay but not flawless either when it came to delivering the punch lines and making the listener chuckle.

The story is great because the character development is on point. Just before you are about to throw your ear pods because the couple is so daft, Mia delivers the euphony and gets the listener/reader back on track. (other authors drag that sh*t out till its ridiculous) So, I think Mia has great instincts as a writer regarding tolerance levels and finesse.
Enjoy (or read the book instead of listening, maybe LOL)

Loved narrators

I don’t know but I really enjoyed voices of the narrators. Somehow the sound of their voice was exactly how I pictured characters. Story was again interesting with some side storylines making it even more interesting. Little bit shorter side thus deep seated issues were solved quickly. Solid listen.

Enjoyed the story

I've enjoyed all three books, I think the second is my fave. Love the themes, love, family, hope, conquering your fears and loving again. The narrators were ok, but the love scenes sounded like they were reading a script, no emotion there.

The voice actors killed it

The story is fine. I think the third act issue made sense with how both characters were set up, so I’m happy for that. But the voice actors REALLY made the audiobook. They were perfect for their characters!

Low on comedy or chemistry

This worked fine for me as general fiction. Both Anthony and Eva have sweet arcs with their respective fathers. There’s a sweet theme about putting oneself out there and being willing to fall in love.
And, I appreciated the nod to a well made empanada.

But, for a story featuring two daredevils seeking careers as stunt people, the comedy and risk taking were on the tame side. I didn’t feel anything for this couple and would have preferred the sex to be less crude.
