Loved Walker and Sienna!

Crank by Adriana Lock was a fun strangers-to-lovers romance that made my heart super happy. This is book one of The Gibson Boys series, and I enjoyed listening to this audio from start to finish. This audiobook is performed in duet narration by Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott. Wen and Kai did amazing things with Locke's words and made me feel every bit a part of grumpy Walker and sassy Sienna's love story. Plus, the chemistry between Walker and Sienna will melt your earbuds. I love their witty banter and pent-up sexual tension! I am looking forward to more from Adriana Locke!

OH my all my feels for this book. I am a HUGE fan of this author lady and now to have Wen and Kai reas this book just proved that this book is amazing!!!


Sienna Landry is not like the rest of her family. She doesn't want the fine china, she wants to feel normal and enjoy life as much as she can. Walker Gibson is your everyday blue collar worker. He loves his life in Illinois, but he is missing something. Now take one long legged blonde and a baseball bat and you have something steamy.

Sienna is a wholehearted helper/doer. She knows she can help when others just can do it. Walker see this in her and wants more, but he has something that needs to be fixed before he can move on. Narration - Wen and Kai were absolutely outstanding! They made these characters come straight to life and truly engrossed you in the book. I felt more life I was listening to a play than a book. Kai was sweet and sassy while Wen sexy and smooth.

Great story

I've always loved Walker and Sienna's story and listening to it made it that much more entertaining. Every relationship will have its own trials, and if they decide to work on it together is what tells the tale of how the relationship will progress. Walker and Sienna hit a rough patch that could have cost them everything, but in the end, figured out that they couldn't live with the thought of not having each other in their lives.

Ticked all my boxes with great narration

I really can’t believe I missed this one way back when it was released as Adriana Locke is a go to author for me but I’m so happy I was given the opportunity to listen to Walker Gibson and Sienna Landry’s journey and I’m going to one click the EBook as well. If you love small town romances Crank should certainly be on your radar because this is a blog k with all the feels and I believe it will appeal to all romance lovers.

Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross did a fantastic job bringing the characters and their story to life. The banter flowed so easily and they were easy to listen to which makes for a wonderful audio book.

Walker is a dark, brooding hero who is the town mechanic and he runs into Sienna when she crashes into his beloved truck when it’s parked outside his brothers bar…..what follows is an entertaining, steamy journey that I couldn’t put down.

This is book one in the The Gibson Boys and it’s the perfect start to the series. I fell hard and fast for Walker, I adored the strong and loyal Sienna but what took this book to another level was the vulnerability both these characters showed us throughout their journey. I swooned, I smiled, I giggled and I held my breath as I joined this couple in their entertaining story.

A slow burn done right!

I loved the story! It was engaging and at times maddening with the angst between the two! I love a good build up and this had it! You could feel the delicious tension between. It was a slow burn but done right. The dual narrating was excellent and I loveeddd them. They fit the characters perfectly.

Very good story. I love the way these two met! This book has a little bit of humor in it that every now and then will give you a chuckle, but the majority of the book is just the romance. You get to watch these two circle each other until they finally figure it out. There is a bit of a twist towards the end and I am happy to see that is was resolved. Definitely worth the listen.

Never Disappointing!

I have fallen in love with this author's writing. I listened to the start of this book today while making a two hour drive and while hiking six miles. It was so good that I continued listening to complete the book. Loved it!!!
