"Prince Alexander Lyons is dead". Considering the day he’s having, he’s starting to believe those reports. This morning he barely escaped assassination, crashed on a jungle world, almost drowned, then was nearly eaten. The rest of his day goes downhill from there.

Fate has lost track of Aulani Suchet. Marooned on a forgotten, savage world since a girl, she’s clawed out an existence by cunning and resolve. Rescuing Alexander, who’s prophesied to be their means of escape, she’s curious how many more times she’ll have to save his life before that happens.

Sosimo LaRouche has 20 stories about why he has a robotic left hand...and they’re all true, at least, that’s what he tells his crew. After raiding ships and plundering ruins with Sosimo for years, the first mate still doesn’t know if his captain is a madman or a genius - LaRouche isn’t sure himself anymore. All he is sure of is the prize is nearly within his grasp. To find it, he’ll have to make a deal with the devil, but the devil has reason not to trust Captain LaRouche.

Killing an angel was only the beginning; Koraden has far more sinister plans. First, he must find and eliminate the lost prince, attain what a maverick pirate seeks, and open the passage between the realms of existence.
