Publisher's Summary

I am complex. My love is all-encompassing. And when it comes to my heart, there is only one rule: Don’t mess with what’s mine.

Until the age of seven, I was Joel Alexander Donovan, son of Jimmy. The man who terrorized a town and made its citizens fear the very ground he walked on. Including me, the day I realized that ground ran red with blood.

At age 18, I became Priest. A man without a past. A man determined to right the wrongs of my father. A man who never believed anyone could love the son of such a monster.

But then a thief stole my heart. A sweetheart lit up my world. And I forgot for a moment you should never turn your back on your enemy.

And thus begins a lesson to those who would seek to harm: Never underestimate what the Priest will do to protect the Princess and the Prick.

Silence Runs Deep

Priest is the least verbal of this Trio - Julien and Robbie are definitely more transparent. I loved all three of these books - they were excellent - I was skeptical - it's hard to beat Logan and Tate throughout their books, but these books while different, captured some of the same affection for me. Ella is as far as I am concerned one of the premiere male male writers - a genre i've only come to love in the last few years. Logan and Tate - and their Temptation Series cannot be beat - between their growing love and chemistry - taken to the 10th power by Shannon Gunn - Through Robbie, Julien and Priest - I find Charlie David very well suited to this Trio - he does a beautiful job with them - and Ella by writing a different and yet similarly enthralling vibe to Logan and Tate. Familiarity does not breed contempt - I love the connection - between the worlds -and the continuity of the characters - it brings them firmly into focus. I've listened to the Temptation Series over and over again and i've listened to this series twice now - waiting for the final Book to come out in Audible (Ella Please!) LOVE YOUR BOOKS - And as you've probably guessed, this people are real to me - you've breathed life into them! THANK YOU!

Hate to be rude but.... Narrator is AWFUL

I've tried, I've really tried to get past the terrible narration but I can't. Thoroughly enjoyed the Temptation Series and it's one of my go to's. But Charlie David is a far cry from Shannon Gunn. He sounds like he's got continual cotton mouth, but what I find really sad is that Ella Frank is using Mr. David for most of her new series which sadly I will not purchase. Please consider other narrator's, JF Harding comes to mind, Aaron Sherlock, Teddy Hamilton, Jacob Morgan, Troy Duran. Pretty much anyone other then Charlie David.

Priest Stole My Heart

Ah, Priest’s story was just so amazing. All of the stories of the Confessions men have been amazing. However, I have to say that Priest stole my heart! It wasn’t what I was expecting as I was such a huge Robbie fan. Something about Priest just grabbed at me and hasn’t let me go since the start of this series. Priest’s story was everything I hoped it would be and more. It was all the feels - sexy, sweet, sad, shocking, amazing. I’ve both read and listened to this series and I know I’ve gushed about it in other reviews for these books, but Charlie David did such an amazing job. The narration really made me fall more in love with this series, if possible. He truly brought these men to life for me. I can’t wait for their Robbie, Julien and Priest’s HEA.

Hot and sexy with a touch of adventure

Damn!! It’s nice to return to this sexy threesome! Priest’s past comes back to haunt him and he needs to keep his men safe, Jules is getting his restaurant up and running and our favorite boy learns more about his men.
Like usual Ella Frank delivers a great story with hot 🔥🔥🔥 sex scenes. I really feel like I know these guys. Seriously Frank has a way with words and with Charlie David as narrator the fabulousness increases.
All the stars for this book!! Definitely more than the review option allows. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Frank’s books are the kind you hold off on experiencing because you know the first read thru (or listen to) will be an amazing thing you can never experience again. Oh, I for sure have gone back to hear them again but the first time is something truly special.

The saga continues

Knowing what happens in this book makes this book a tricky one to listen to. It can change my mood if I am not ready for it. Priest is someone who has hidden from the world and only shows the people who he loves who he is. But that is the thing that we love Robbie for. Robbie is the one person who does know everything that has happened to Priest. But the trio is back, and declaring their love is such a beautiful thing. I have listened to this book a few times, and I still love this series.

Priest

This is the third book in the Confessions series. The last book ended on a shocking note. Just when Robbie felt as if he finally belonged with Priest and Julien, BOOM. Another bomb dropped in their laps. Priest's past has finally caught up to them. This book definitely has the edge and drama. This series is one of the few that I have listened to more that three times, and it still gets me in the feels. Charlie David did a fabulous job narrating this book.

LOVED IT!

Wow this series! The relationship between the three of them really solidified in this book. The way they all came together and confessed their feelings for one another was so good and done just so well. There is such a deep connection between all three of them and it was so emotional to be a part of that development. We also get Joel's backstory here and learn why he is the way he is and why he so fiercely protects the ones he loves. This book was much more emotional, there was suspense and drama, and so much love, it was glorious!
Charlie David was just spending continuing to bring Robbie, Julien and Joel to life!

#3...

I'm a huge Logan and Tate fan. It's different listening to Charlie David reading the C
onfession series, but he's fantastic, and I can compartmentalize the two different stories with the two different voices. I'm off to listen to book number four. Thank you, Ella!

This book, this man, these men...

The third installment of this story is by far less full of sex scenes compared to the first two books (but the ones present are, as usual, droolsworthy...), but it it an evolution story so full of feels and action, too, that it keeps you hanging to every word!
And I am so glad it isn't over, yet!

I was on the edge of my seat

Wow! Charlie David did a fantastic job making Priest come to life. On the recommendation of a friend I started listening to this series and I'm so glad I did. Priest's book has been my favorite so far even if I was anxious about the whereabouts of my favorite Prick. This audio is one of the best I've listened to all year.

A thrilling continuation

In this book, the series goes from emotional drama to action-packed thriller. I did have to take a little break in the second half of the book because it did get very heavy. As usual, Charlie David's performance is phenomenal. He's half the reason I had to stop for a bit, because his voice elicits so much emotion, it's hard to not get too sucked in. I'm excited for the final book in Priest, Julien, and Robbie's story. Their love is so wonderful even through such difficulties.

Passionate and intense

This story goes deep and helps explain the enigma that is Priest.
I adore this book and want to gobble it all up in one sitting. The briliant narration by Charlie David brings another level of suspense and heightens the enjoyment.
Passion, love and intense connection are highlights of this story.

Priest’s deadly past endangers the boys!

As Robbie comes to terms with Priest’s confession that he is the son of the infamous and murderous crime boss, Jimmy Donovan, Priest and Julien can only hope Robbie will forgive the concealment and the danger. Meanwhile Julien opens a new restaurant and Robbie’s family get to know his lovers. There’s a lot of dialogue and banter in this riveting soapie series and for parts of this book, not much actually happens and that’s ok - its about consolidating the relationship between the three. But when things do happen, they’re explosive. The flashbacks here are compelling as Priest remembers key events with his father, with Julien, and with Robbie and we finally understand why Priest hardly ever sleeps - he’s always looking over his shoulder waiting for the axe to fall. Audio narrator Charlie David does his usual excellent job, I love the timbre of his voice!

Perfection

I love how these 3 interact, the horrible past PRIEST had been through, and Julien's ordeal has made them stronger
