Publisher's summary

The bitch is back, and she means business.

Two hundred years ago, an alien race altered the course of the galaxy’s history. Just not in the way they intended.

Bethany Anne Nacht has denied the Kurtherians at every turn. After two centuries of war, the Kurtherians have gone into hiding, and so has the Queen Bitch.

Life around High Tortuga is about to get very interesting.

Bethany Anne and Michael have adjusted to family life. She and her husband have two children to protect and raise - not an easy task when your children are...gifted. Her plan to protect her children from harm is coming to fruition. However, she didn’t count on their father....

Away from home, the game begins again when a scout ship runs into trouble, and a mysterious new enemy threatens the stability of the nascent Federation.

The endgame is underway.

Note: This audiobook contains cursing. Perhaps humorous cursing, but cursing nevertheless. If this offends you, I don't suggest listening to this audiobook.

please ,YES !

these books are the only sci-fi books I have read in a lot of years , no I wouldn't tell you how many ! But hot damn ! I can really get my head in this end game ! I live very close to Washington DC so there are a large number of military personnel and family in our neighborhoods. (smile) this way I can check all the military jargon etc. Bethany Anne kicks ass and Micheal is the best husband I can imagine. Can I trade ? till next time ....

Too Easy

Defeating the big bad in this book was just too easy. Barge in, get a boo boo, win! Story telling is excellent as always, I’d just like to see more effort in overcoming strong opponents. Of course it was only one ship, but still.

Loved it!

Anderle does it again with adding on more pure epic bossomness to one of the best sci-fi space operas have read! And Queen Emily Beresford does again with continuing to be my favorite female narrator and breathing life into these lovable characters! I am VERY glad she continues to be the narrator since it would be almost impossible to hear Bethany Anne with any other voice!

This book has the royal twins continuing to grow and develop. With their parents needing to split responsibilities in various ways to both insure their children’s development is handled the best way possible! And to also insure that other goals and circumstances are also “handled.”

I can’t wait for the next one so I’ll stop here! Haha!

She’s back

Nice to be reunited with old friends. Bethany Anne and team are back and this story comes with adventures for the young and old… though I wander if Michael will survive Once BA finds out what and how her kids were being trained. The narrator did a great job!

New planets and new challenges

Bethany Anne has found ways to derail Michael’s T-Rex hunt, but does make sure to find a challenging date night on the semi lawless planet of Belvith. Just so happens, it’s a good candidate for export of misfits from the social engineering of High Tortuga. And to become known as the new Devon, as a shield for hiding HT.
The rapid growth and learning by the children poses additional challenges.
BA & Co get hints of a new major enemy to civilization.
Beresford does a great job of narration.

Hey, Audible Tech Support: This is my 4th attempt to post my written review, which did not post at the same time as my starred review on 11/12/19. Please fix those faulty lines! This is book 2 in the series and may end up posting after book 6!?!
