Publisher's summary

Warning: This book features a dominant alpha man who will push your boundaries until you beg for more. Listen at your own risk.

Blake Roberts is falling hard for his old flame and won't stop until Erin is his. He doesn't simply want her body; he wants her submission, her abandon, and the wounded heart she's trying so hard to hide.

He wants all of her, and he's pulling out all the stops - in the bedroom and out - until she surrenders.

For Erin, what started as a charade has become all too real. She's never experienced anything like the savage bliss she's discovered in Blake's arms. He tests her, dominates her, and if she doesn't gain her freedom, soon he'll own her - body and soul.

She has to escape, even if running from Blake feels like running from the only home she's ever known.

Cliff-hanger alert: This steamy listen ends in a cliff-hanger. If you don't like being teased, steer clear.

The plot thickens

Overall - 5; Performance - 4.5; Story - 5

This story dives deeper into the relationship between Blake and Erin - their past and the feelings that are reigniting. Both have changed since Erin disappeared when they were 16 and they are slowly trying to trust each other again.

This book brings the steam and passion but also strengthens the connection between these 2 lost souls. I enjoyed reading more about their history and seeing their personalities develop. Plus, the passion between these characters is white hot! The ending left me starting that next novella right away.

CJ Mission and Jaime Lamchick do a great job in their performance!

Things Are Heating Up

Book one was just an appetizer. Commanding Her Trust is where the story really begins to develop. Not only is there lust, but feelings emerge as Blake and Erin’s relationship grows. Of course, bigger feelings mean a greater potential for pain. And that’s exactly what happens as secrets come to light. Looking forward to the final novella to see how the situation will be resolved.

Sweet and spicy

This a sweet and very spicy book about old lovers who are back in each other’s lives. Blake is a Dom and Erin is Sub. They have a past as they lived in the same foster home years ago. Plans were made back then until Erin left in the middle of the night. Back together again in a cabin in Northern Nevada. Their chemistry is still there and explodes in the hottest way.

I am loving this series. It’s an accurate description of the BDSM community which thrills me. I’ve read some that are rubbish and this book is not. You can tell research was actually done on the lifestyle. Blake is an amazing Dom who actually cares anyone he subs with. And I love that Erin is a bit of a bratty sub. I’m excited to start the conclusion next.

The narrators are wonderful and are bringing these characters to life. Wonderful choices for Blake and Erin.

Oooh suspense!

Oooh second-chance romance at it’s finest! These two have SO much chemistry and so much history! Will they be able to trust each other and move on for their HEA?

This book is H-O-T, swoony, and full of anticipation. I am so glad I don’t have to wait for the next book to release (as it already has). Off to the next one!

Things are heating up

While on the surface this book is about the relationship between a Dom and sub it is actually much more than that.

Blake is rediscovering feelings for Erin that he thought he had buried deep in his heart and he is quickly changing his mind about their weekend together. He is starting to think that they may be able to make a future together, but does he really know the woman that Erin has grown into?

After 8 years apart Erin never stopped loving Blake, but she has secrets that he may never accept. As much as she wants to explore a relationship with him she overhears a phone call that forces her to question his motives.
Without giving Blake a chance to explain, Erin does the one thing guaranteed to piss him off...she runs.
