Spectacular story and narraration

You will sure to be a fan of this series if you love fantasy, super heroes, romance, etc. Very clever and gripping world. I really wish it was an anime!

The characters are very relateable. The setting is easy to identify with. This makes it incredibly easy to immerse yourself in the story.

Which scene was your favorite?

The initial fallout just after the Wendy's powers began to manifest and she wakes in a hospital bed.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I almost did until other obligations got in the way.

The audio work was phenomenal. Cherami Leigh and Todd Haberkorn did an exceptional job bringing their talents to this story. You would never guess this was Cherami's first audiobook. Great job you two!

Syfy book gone Romance Novel

The story line looked interesting, so I picked this book up. The content started out strong and held my interest but about halfway through the read it transformed into a Romance Novel. At that point I started losing interest but finished the book to see if it was going to recover. It sort of did but not enough that I would buy the next book. I am not a big romance novel kind of person but if you are this might be right in your lane. The narration is top notch and made the book mostly work for me even though it veered off story line in my opinion. If a book promises one thing and delivers another I often will return it for the token refund, however the narration was so good that I will keep the book in recognition of narrator's good work. I hope that this review gives you a Heads-up as to what to expect if you are moved to buy this book. :)

Performance by Cherami leigh was stellar however narrative tended to drag overall strong premise and colorful characters

Love, love, love this series!

I originally bought and read the physical copy at an Anime convention in Atlanta and absolutely loved the story. Then I saw that the audio versions were on here and couldn't wait to listen. THEN I noticed Todd Haberkorn voiced the male characters and I immediately downloaded and started listening. I was not disappointed! The voice acting Cherami and Todd do for these books really make the book feel like a movie playing in your head.

I have never listened to such an interesting story. Rachel Kelly has written a great story and I look forward to the next book being released in audible. Also, Cherami and Todd were perfect as always!! They do wonderful voice work and I can’t wait to hear more of them!

I 100% recommend this series! Having read the series Cherami Leigh was meant to play Wendy. :) This series has amazing dialog between the characters Wendy and Gabe.
