I am bringing Collioure to you—a charming Catalan port fishing village, steeped in medieval heritage and overflowing with maritime and architectural treasures.

Living in the south of France, surrounded by natural beauty, I delight in capturing life among the hilltop and coastal villages through my lens. In today’s busy world, with its myriad distractions and uncertainties, an occasional visual escape is a welcome gift.

If you love French villages bathed in the colors of the Mediterranean sun, then Collioure is made for you. Its magical light, long shadows, and vibrant hues reign majestically in the Pyrénées-Orientales, earning it the title “Pearl of the Côte Vermeille.” Wander the cobblestone streets, explore the royal castle, gaze at the towering lighthouse, and let the sea breeze carry you through centuries of history.

Artists throughout the 20th century were captivated by Collioure’s spell. Visionaries such as André Derain, Georges Braque, Othon Friesz, Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, Charles Rennie Mackintosh, James Dickson Innes, and Tsuguharu Fujita all found inspiration here, their canvases reflecting the village’s vivid colors, dramatic light, and timeless charm.
