Publisher's Summary

Cole’s Saga: FEMA Wars, the second book in Cole’s Saga series, is post-apocalyptic EMP survival fiction.

In the first book, Cole and his friends were abducted and then escaped from the FEMA slave camp. Cole was surrounded by three beauties, and then Cole married Gemma. Jack had caused the deaths of two of their friends plus most of the group were wounded in a disastrous fight.

The second book starts with the team having to hold up their travel to allow the wounded to heal. Jack continues to second guess all of Cole’s decisions. Cole has a personal tragedy caused by the death of someone close to him. The group suffers more wounds and deaths as they struggle on their trip to Oregon. Cole grieves over his losses but is consoled by a dear friend. With death and destruction all around them and FEMA close behind them, will they survive?

Thank you Kevin Pierce!

I've always liked Kevin Pierce narrating but I had to rewind and listen again as someone reading or acting actually pronounced Mobile, Alabama correctly! Sometimes it's the little things... as for the book, nice wrap up for the story without being too perfect. I have loved Grandma's letters throughout the entire series.

Mediocre storyline

This storyline was poor. Almost like he just cranked it out in a couple days to get it out there. Narration was great as I have come to expect from Kevin Pierce. There was one mistake that jumped out at me, not sure I'd it was Kevin or the author. He called Grandma Alice instead of Agnes.

Loved this series!

Dear Mr Newman,

I hope you decide to bring Cole and Joe back in some form or fashion. This was one of my favorite series and I'm very sad to see it end. Thank you for these great characters and this wonderful story!

Love love love!

This last last book of the trilogy was the best!

Always full of action, sadness, and love.

I will miss these folks and maybe one day we can hear from them again.

Kevin Pierce and Sara Morsey brought this book to life!

I was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, narrator, and/or publisher.

Excellent Performance, good travel/survival story

The first and last books in a series are usually the most memorable and this is no exception to the rule. I was discombobulated by the large time skips and off hand way some characters were lost. The relentless restatements of relationship changes was still present as in tge other books.

Did not enjoy the story pace and jumps.

Did not enjoy the story pace. Felt like a quick push to end a story with as many jumps in time needed just to get it over with.

Oh so much better

This audible was much better written AJ Newman took time to write and tell a story as well he did in the prior series. The characters came alive and had feelings and you was able to feel their joy and the pain of lost of love ones. Their adventures and mishaps as they travel from KY trying to get home in OR. You also enjoy the feeling of both sets of characters from series one and this series when they meet after eight years separated and learn of former loves getting married or have died.
You see that a corrupt Fema is telling them and trying to take the US over to create a new US not in the ways of the old US instead a government of corrupt politicians and slaves.
I hope you enjoy the series

Very Sad

After listening to the first series I was excited about this series which told what happened to Coke and his journey. I am sad that the books are done and I no longer am in their lives listening to them live. The narration as usual was amazing and Cole and Brat were alive for a time.
