Very good overview.

There aren’t many details, that’s ok! The book was obviously not meant to be comprehensive, it would need to be much much longer. But easy to follow, very good overview. I learned a lot!

Excellent

A great series of interviews and archive footage from important aspects of the Cold War. A vital listen to if you are interested in this period, I believe it is still available through the BBC, but I was happy to pay and have it for prosperity.
Even if you disagree with the angle taken from the makers it still is a fascinating insight and many of these events need to be remembered and these are a way of ensuring this.

Not a book is and old BBC podcast put together. Still fantastic. Great to here from real people who where they and to here from their stories. narrator was a BBC reporter at the time so live though it as well. Would highly recommend

Definitely worth buying. This is not an overview, this series goes into immense detail on the finer points of the cold war. I've just finished my first listen, and I'm immediately going back to the start to relisten all over again. Fascinating stuff. Bridget Kendall is superb.
